Seemingly Slow Sunday's Sojourns Seemed So Satisfying!

Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

I had texted Monica last night if we were still on for dinner, and she texted back that Tuesday might be better. We will see if that materializes.

I remained on the computer until I became tired.

I woke up feeling just fine this morning and was invigorated to face the Sunday portion of Frisatsu! I wanted to make the best of it since we will be in another work week soon.

I brewed coffee, among doing another couple of tasks, and then settled back in at the computer to watch some morning news first. After I got a taste of that, then it was time for my normal morning visit into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community!

Most of the people who read my posts here know that I do this every single day without fail (unless there are situations beyond my control).

I got it completed a little later in the day than usual, and at that time the temp was 50 degrees when I decided to venture outside and capture some images of what looks like it will be a beautiful day.

Those temps might rise more later in the day.

It was shortly when I went back inside that I got a call from another one of my Army buddies, Floyd, from Montana, and we had a nice hour-long chat, catching up on things. That is always good to do when time permits--Sundays can be Great for that.

Then I decided since the weather was warming up so much to go into the garage and check the charge on the motorcycle--which I have neglected over the Winter.

The battery might be good and might not be, but that is from my own negligence.

After that, I decided to run a couple of errands that needed to be taken care of.

Before I left to do that, I captured an image of the mid afternoon sun.

The first errand was for more cat food for Kitty.

I no sooner got to the store when my mother called me, just as I was getting out of the truck. I sat back down in it and talked to her for about 30 minutes. Our call was interrupted from a past customer, and I had to delay him and told him I would call him back.

Finally, I let her go for a few minutes and called the guy back. Fortunately, they were able to solve the problem themselves. I typically try not to work on Sundays, so there was no worries there.

I then ran my next errand quickly, and then headed back to the eBay house. Monica called and I had to talk to her, and good news--we might have Chinese food tonight instead of Tuesday! YAY!

After she had to let me go, I then called my Mom back and we chatted for a few minutes, but she had not had breakfast up in Alaska yet. I let her go, but told her to call me back later.

Things can get so hectic when lots of different calls come through--seemingly at the same time, but I am not complaining.

When this post finally drops, depending on the time, I will be available for a bit, but that all depends upon when Monica picks me up for our Chinese extravaganza tonight.

I just have to wait and see how it all works out. We ended up making it to 75 degrees today, and the motorcycle did start finally, so both of those were very pleasant surprises.

The temps were a new record high for this day too--75 degrees! I was not unhappy about that!

I will not hold Monica to her earlier proposal of going out to eat, but IF it happens there will be a recap in Monday's post!

I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A SATISFYING SUNDAY PORTION OF FRISATSU. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TOO. THE REST OF THE DAY WILL BE PURE RELAXATION AHEAD OF ANOTHER NEW WORK WEEK--AT LEAST IF I CAN HELP IT!

Sincerely,

Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Did I miss something. Whoosh and it was gone.
It will soon be Harley weather Jeff.
How I miss my bikes, all over Europe on them.
Don't you think there is something special about riding on a bike instead of sitting in a car.
Hope you get that Chinese.
Bux

I do agree with you about bikes, Bux!

The Dinner date never materialized--she must have been caught up with something else. There is always another day!

Jeff

I know the feeling Jeff. Sometimes you just have to put your emotional armour on and do your own thing.

Thanks, Bux. That is just what I did!

We've got your back buddy.

Always appreciated, Bux! Hope your Monday is going well!

Nice and smooth Jeff.
No big boulders today, and plenty of gas left in the tank.
Bux

That is fantastic to hear, Bux!

We hit 75F degrees here as well today, although it wasn't a record. Forecasters are actually predicting 80 degrees by Tuesday that may break a record. Of course it's February, so it's not expected to last.

Enjoy your warm weather while it lasts. Maybe you can get the bike out for a quick ride. 🏍️

Thanks, Cynthia! In a day or so arctic weather will return, but I don't expect it to last very long.

I am prepared either way. I may or may not get the bike out, but I will start it again a couple of times, at least.

Hope all is well, and you enjoy the new week!

Jeff

Sounds good, Jeff.

The like buttons are working again.

Goodnight

JD

I think that the rising of temperatures is a sign that we are edging closer to a new season. I hope fruitful for you Jeff, the Blog dogs and everyone at Wealthy Affiliates.

Great to hear, JD! Hope you slept well and enjoy your new Monday!

Jeff

Well said, and thank you, Jean!

Have a Great new week!

Jeff

Wow, 75 degrees....awesome!

It's time to take that bike for a ride with temps like that!

Enjoy your Sunday and final day of this FriSatSu, Jeff!

Tim 🎼

Yep, the first ride will likely be to get a new battery for it, Tim!

I did enjoy it even though my dinner date did not materialize!

Hope your Frisatsu was good!

Jeff
