1000 Followers - Thank you!
Hi friends.
I want to thank all of you who have included me in your WA network. I see that my number of followers has grown to 1K.
I appreciate each one of you. I follow everyone who follows me. If you notice that I'm not following you and you have followed me, it is an oversight. Please let me know by PM and I will rectify the situation with an immediate follow.
I was spending a lot of time on the community side of the WA site; and I think at one point I was down to a 22 Rank; but I was burning out trying to keep up with that and my website and my site was suffering. I have cut my time down on here considerably; but my rank has been going up...up...up. It is now up to 94 and that isn't making me happy; so I think I will need to find more time on here to bring it back down. Besides, I am missing all my friends and all the wonderful inspiring posts!

Congratulations Jeannie! and nice poem and blog! I hear you about needing to take time for your sites. I'd like be to be on here more reading all the blogs but sometimes you get caught up in it and the sites do suffer. I hope all your dreams come true!

What's really interesting about the whole ranking issue is that you really don;t have to do a lot to maintain your "position". I think that if you just set aside an hour a day, just towards engaging with the community, you may see your ranking move in the direction you want, quicker than you anticipated.
Aaaawwwee. Thank you Queen Veronica. I'm hoping you are right about the ranking. It seems like I do spend an hour a day and I keep slipping.
Hmmm....there seems to be no rhyme or reason to this algorithm, just when I think I have it figured out, it does something to surprise me. I'm sure that as you start writing more posts and become more engaged, your ranking will improve. All is time, M'lady, and in time.
I got 1,680 followers and I spend more time than I thought I would need to spend with over 300 emails a day.
I know what you mean and my website has suffered, too.

I cannot imagine trying to keep up with notifications from 1000 people! We were out of town and away from the computer yesterday (and no data plan for a couple more days) -- and I came home to more than 100 notifications from WA! Congratulations!
You are right. I can't keep up with it. At least not if I want to get anything else done. That's why I had to back off some to work on lessons and site. I might try to be on a little more to bring my rank down some....Unless my site starts suffering. I have to do what's most important.
