When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate a couple of years ago, I started a niche website about autism and named it Autism Parenting Today. I worked on it for about 7 months, an

I would stay with Autism Parenting Today.

In my opinion, it's good to continue with your site. First, it gained trust in Google with that name, if you change it to another site Google Trust will go back to zero.
I would suggest if you will, that you retain the site title but change the tagline.

Tag Line: Devin's Autism Odyssey

Good Morning Kristin,

I can understand that is a dilemma. I like the new name but the old one has a better result as keyword? Sorry, I am not much of a help here. When I chose the names for my websites I followed my "feeling".
Nice to see you again, keep smiling.

Hi Kristin,

Just my humble opinion but I would go with, "Devin's Autism Odyssey. I sounds more personal and closer to the heart.

Best wishes,

Michael

i"d go with Devin's Autism Odyssey too. That name really got my attention and stood out more. Yes, both are about parenting an autistic child, but the second seems more personable and less flat. This is also a legacy for Devin, and eventually, he could contribute as well, should he wish to. This seems to me to focus on his journey through life, his challenges and things that have helped via affiliate marketing or your own products.

I hope I am being clear here. ;) Besides, I'd probably click on Devin's Autistic Odyssey, rather than parenting as well as it's not just focused on the parent but how autism affects the entire family and the angle about the odyssey through life.

Would doing a keyword search help make up your mind? It would seem logical that the most popular keyword would be the most beneficial. I personally think anything with parenting would be the most used as it's more universally applicable. Just my opinion though.

Good point! In fact, it was keyword searches that led me to the original name!

Parenting is best as there are parents out there that may have just found out their child has autism. Write a story about Devins Odyssey and make it a tab.

I like that idea. In fact, I have a category in which I have posts about our personal experience. Maybe I will just rename that category! I will see what everyone has to say!

Hi, personally I think the name with "Parenting" in it could be impactful for readers. It's the content you put on your site that sells it, but, this decision is entirely up to you.

And, I'm glad you recovered from your illness.

Good luck!
Cal

Thank you, Cal! It has been a longer road than I would have liked, but it feels good to be getting back!

I think Devin's Autism Odyssey sounds better. There's a personal touch here. The first one is good too, but I think that if both website titles showed up in my Google search, I would click on the second one.
In the end, you should choose the one that really resonates with you.
Let's see what other people think :-)

Thank you! Those are basically my thoughts too, but I also know that I do not always think like people might expect me to! Therefore, the request for input!

I went in and mine were all set up -- so I turned them off and then back on! Started getting some, so it must have been a glitch of some sort. Thanks!

Glad you got it sorted.
No system is perfect so you are sure to get gremlins sometimes.

Check your email spam folder.
Is it possible that there were no applicable notifications from WA as well?

Thanks! I had checked there, but there was nothing. And I am sure that over a span of 2 weeks there had to be some!
