Important Facebook Update - No Click bait allowed!
So I tried this out when my promotions started getting denied.
I wasn't being deceptive in my posts but I wasn't being super specific. I was posting large images and some verbiage. The same thing other pages with millions of likes in my niche were doing.
Unfortunately, facebook made an update that, in my experience halted that, not because what I'm doing is bad but because shady people out there were doing something they've deemed "Link Bait". They use a misleading title and link them to a page that the user does not want to see. It's misleading.
Link Bait (defined) - Click bait is when a link is shared in a Facebook post with a title that sparks curiosity but does not really tell people what the article is all about. This essentially teases people to click a link but does not give them all the information so they are not exactly sure what they’re going to find on the other side of that click.
So, I tried this out and viola!
my ads are now approved and I'm back on track.
1. Describe exactly what you're post is linking to. Summarize it.
2. include the link that creates the facebook generated autofill that pulls in the preview and image from the actual page you're linking to.
3. Don't be vague. Summarize your content, don't just use a catchy, intriguing title.
Why Facebook did this:
The bounce rate was super high with a lot of paid ads. So be specific, don't get a bounce.

I agree I hate that sales pitch crap! It's right up there with the junk mail that looks like a bill you're late paying.
I love the way you try things and when they don't work out, you FIX them! [and show us all how not to make/get out of the mistake :) ]
They changed this about a month ago. It stopped a lot of the crapola on FB. Sounds like you now know how to do it. Good Luck!
weird!? That's all I changed and it's working again. Ya know what's really upsetting, without paying I reach like 11 people, it's laughable... WITH paying, I reach 2,000 people! soooooo pay for play, this better lead to sales.
