I wanna tell you a story
I joined Wealthy Affiliate way back in 2013. I loved every minute of it and learned loads. The community was supportive and friendly and I even met up with some of them (yep, in real life!)
I was beginning to see some revenue, eventually, and was ready to up my game and begin living the laptop lifestyle.
I have always been a relatively healthy person and swam everyday, ate healthily (with maybe the odd glass of wine or 2). So, it was, without doubt, the biggest shock of my life to have been struck down with a ischemic stroke. I lost all control over the left side of my body and spent weeks in hospital. Dark times.
I had an undiagnosed heredity condition which means my body doesn't process cholesteral as it should and this caused a clot in my brain. I suppose I should be grateful that I got away with for so long. Medication for the rest of my life but hey ho...
I was told that there was a part of my brain which was now dead. "What do you mean, DEAD?"
I'll spare you the trauma and dramatics but I'm one of those people who needs to research anything I really don't understand so I hit Google.
I read, watched, took part in and soaked up all I could to do with recovery of the brain.
Whether it takes weeks, months or years the human brain is capable of retraining. I know, I've done it and I'm a slow learner!!
Back on my feet, unaided and beginning to claw back some of my life it was, I suppose, obvious that one of the first places I considered to rejoin was Wealthy Affiliate.
Another learning curve, what a transformation. I still recognised it as WA but with bells and whistles now. I also couldn't believe the number of names and faces I recognise from years ago. It's lovely to see you all again
But... AI!! Hubs!!! Out of my depth!!! Not on your life. Bring it on!
So, the reason I'm telling you all of this is because if I can do this (again) anyone can. It just takes a bit of brain training, not to be successful but to change your mindset to become successful. Your brain (you) is an amazing piece of kit - don't waste it.
See you soon
Jackie

Fantastic Jackie.
Glad to hear of your recovery. I appreciate it must have been something of a tough fight and time.
If you took your enforced break before the popularisation of AI I expect the hubs will be a new climb but quickly made. It'll take an open mind.
Wishing you the very best for the future.

It's great that you found your way back, Jackie, and yeah, the platform seems to change daily. The changes are good, though, I think. Your story is the best!
Dave
Thank you Dave, that's very sweet of you
