I have place several affiliate advertiser links onto my pages which show up great on my PC. How do I get them to show up on a mobile device?

Is your website mobile-friendly?

How do I check to see if it’s mobile friendly?

Dave gave you the answer below. I'd suggest you read these parts
- Responsive Design Settings
- Check Your Theme’s Responsive Settings

Hope this helps WTindall.

Maxine :)

They should show up without any additional effort, Walter.

I updated my website this morning and was able to see my affiliate ads on my PC and my ipad, however I don't see them on my mobile phone.

I don't have an answer. I checked the internet for one but came up short. I'll keep looking. In the meantime, maybe someone else has an answer.

Thank you. No problem I'll just keep on posting quality content and monitoring my site. Really appreciate your help.

I got this from Chat GPT4. It's a little over my head, but you might be able to glean something from it. Site Support is always an option.

Why:
There are multiple possible reasons for this inconsistency:

Responsive Design Settings:
Your website theme or page builder may not be fully optimized for mobile responsiveness. Some website themes hide certain elements on mobile devices to keep the layout clean, which could unintentionally include your affiliate links.

CSS or Plugin Conflicts:
Sometimes a piece of custom code or a plugin you’ve installed might conflict with the responsive design. Certain stylesheets might be overriding how your links appear on smaller screens.

Ad Blockers or Script Limitations:
On mobile devices, some browsers or installed apps (like mobile ad blockers) may prevent affiliate tracking scripts from loading. This could cause the links to vanish or appear broken.

Lazy Loading or AMP Configurations:
If you’re using AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) or any kind of lazy-loading script that’s not configured correctly, affiliate links could fail to load properly on mobile devices.

How:
To fix this, Dave, consider these steps:

Check Your Theme’s Responsive Settings:
Head into your WordPress dashboard or the back-end of your site and check the customization options. Look for “Mobile” or “Responsive” settings. Make sure there’s no setting that inadvertently hides affiliate links or widgets on mobile view.

Use the Inspector Tool:
On your mobile browser (or by simulating a mobile device in a desktop browser’s developer tools), inspect the elements where your affiliate links are placed. This will help you pinpoint if any CSS is telling those links to disappear on smaller screens.

Disable Plugins One by One:
Temporarily deactivate plugins (especially ad management or affiliate-related plugins) to see if one of them is causing the issue. When you find the culprit, update or replace it with a better mobile-friendly alternative.

Check AMP and Caching:
If you’re using AMP or a caching plugin, try disabling it temporarily. If the affiliate links reappear, then adjust your AMP or caching settings to ensure compatibility.

Contact Affiliate Support or Theme Developer:
If the problem persists, reach out to the affiliate network’s support team or your theme developer. They’ll likely have guidance or a patch that can help fix mobile display issues.

How do I go from freedomaffiliates.siterubix.com to freedomaffiliates.com?

Class 4 of the training covers that part In great detail. I see that Kyle has you covered as well :)

You may have misspelled the domain name required, as that has been registered since 2004.

Hi Walter, Unfortunately, Freedomaffiliates is not available as a dotcom, but Freedomaffiliation is. As a Siterubix member, you can use any name you want, but it isn't necessarily available as a dotcom. Go to 'Websites' at the top of the page, then 'Site Domains'. You can play around with names when you get there. I'm around all evening to help.

Dave

Thank you for your quick response. I was able to move my website to freedomaffiliates.com after watching the training video 3 times. I am a little thick headed but I am catching up. Your guidance is appreciated.

Nice work. I checked to see if the domain you wanted was available, but you already figured it out and grabbed it.

I don't think you are thick-headed at all. Many would have stopped in their tracks and waited for an answer. You took the problem by the horns and wrestled with it until you won. That says a lot!

I would just buy the domain at the start. If you have only a few posts on the siterubix just copy all blocks on Wordpress post and paste into your new site. (That is create a blank new post and paste it there.
