Hello,
I want to put a place on my site where people can leave a Google review. Any ideas on how to do this?
Thanks
Jackie

To let people leave a Google review on your site:

Get your Google Review link: Visit Google Business Profile, copy your review link under "Get More Reviews." Create a button or text like "Leave a Review" and link it to your Google review page.

Optional: Add a Widget: Use tools like Good Reviews Widget to emblem reviews and provide a direct review option.

Now your visitors can easily leave feedback.

Hey Jackie,

This would require you to have a Google Business Profile (GBP): https://www.google.com/intl/en_ca/business/ and IF you qualify for one, then once you have your GBP account, you'll be able to get a link to use on your website where when clicked on, will take the person's browser to your GBP where they will be able to add a review, providing they have and are logged into their gmail account, in order to qualify for an honest review.

As a heads-up, it is not 'easy' to qualify for a GBP account, so be sure you do qualify BEFORE putting in the effort to do so. https://support.google.com/business/answer/13763036?hl=en

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks, so much. And there was I thinking you just put a button on your site. I need to look into this a bit more.
Thanks for your time
J

I want to add an editor to my site so they can add content. I've managed to put them in as a user but don't know they access the back office of the site. Can anyone help?

Hey Jackie,

The following training may provide you with the help you seek: Hope you find this helpful.

When you Add the User, there is an option to assign a "role" for that user. You can choose Editor there.

I've scheduled some posts to publish at later dates but they are missing the times. I've checked the time zones and they are okay. Any thoughts?

Hey Jackie,

Here's the plugin that works perfectly for me...

Hope you find this helpful.

Oh thank you Trish

the wordpress scheduler is not the most reliable - there are plugins that are way more reliable...
so i would explore this avenue....
unless you mean the wa scheduler - in which case i would get in touch with kyle...

Thank you. No, not the WA scheduler. Any suggestions for a plugin?
