My thought process is that not everything I write is going to rank in Google. That being said, the low hanging fruit keywords you can use to get traffic to your site, and then link the other articles that didn't rank in your keyword article. Internal linking is great for SEO too.

I am with Guy on this that focus on one keyword. If you have huge good content some of other keywords may get the post ranked.

I just write naturally, focusing on answering one main keyword.
Generally, it's supposed to best to just target one keyword per post. You might have as many keywords in a post as you like as long as they fit in naturally. However, usually, you just target one at a time.
