How do I remove screenr theme wordpress ad from my header? After I updated wordpress and theme an ad showed up on my header image and it flips to the same image over and over.

It can be different for each theme, but if you go into customize, there should be a place to edit the header where the text can be removed. Be sure to hit save or update.

I wrote a new page content and in the editor I am breaking up my text paragraphs with spacing and am indenting the first word in each paragraph. Then I update the page. When

"Make sure you're editing in the visual editor and anywhere you add a blank line in between"----I don't know what you mean!

I have that very same problem! It's very frustrating... Upon reading the comments below, HOW exactly does a theme matter?

While indentation isn't common in online articles, there are many ways to make your articles easy on the eyes and easy to read.

Short paragraphs, plenty of white space on your page, adding relevant images, clear and easy to read headings... these are all ways to make your page a great user experience.

You can definitely add spacing between your paragraphs. Make sure you're editing in the visual editor and anywhere you add a blank line inbetween paragraphs, it'll show up in your post.

I think you can format for spacing and indention. Look around - I found mine but I can't remember where!!!

Here are some common theme issue solutions . Not sure if format errors are addressed though! http://www.wpexplorer.com/fix-common-wordpress-theme-issues/

I have the same problem, very frustrating, I have changed her my theme, but still have to do a post to see if it works.

Try a different theme

There are formatting things that word press does not do sometimes because of a specific theme. You can write an article in a word process program and transfer it to the site manager. If you know coding, you can make formatting changes in text mode, but its pretty cumbersome.

The pages I have created are set up kinda odd and I'm I am having trouble fixing it. I would like to open the site with American wild edible page. Which then I would like the r

Yes, as kmer6 mentions you can use canvas or an image creator like photoshop or other ones less expensive and upload the image where you want it on the main page. You will have to use tables if you want the images side by side. Then just link the image(s) to the corresponding article(s) you create as separate pages. I hope this helps.

Here is a step-by-step guideline that may help and good luck.

I think KerriM has it right. You can create submenus under each page. For example, I have one of my pages is titled Abandoned Railroads of the American West. When you click on that page you get a dropdown and a button for each of the railroads addressed. I hope this helps.

Good morning. You have a fabulous design idea that should enhance navigation on your site. I know there are plugins that will build table, etc, but I wouldn't want to slow the page loading time with extra plugins if at all possible.
It may be possible by using Microsoft Paint program and create a clickable box as your menu that would open to another page that leads to the content page. You can also use Canva to create a clickable picture.
I like your idea and hope you find a good solution to your idea.

Hi I am trying to figure out why some of the published posts I make do not show up at all when going under the specified page. In the back office they show as published and in

Well they are a source of permalinks and they are at the top of the blog or post. It is blue highlighted that is the link to the post or page.

Put the name of the page in top right hand corner of your post page search entry.
Or look at your browser history. Don't worry, it is still there. Finally, ask SUPPORT. They're great. Good luck,
Tracy

Have you placed them under the proper menu?

Appearances - Menus - then choose the menu - then find the pages in the left - tick their box - click add to menu
