Is Wealthy Affliate Saturated?

I love it when I hear this argument for any product or service for that matter. Are toasters saturated, microwaves, surfboards. I mean you name it and there is a new brand seemingly every few days. Things come and go but the ones that stick around are the ones that give substance, support and the ability to scale.

Online marketing will never ever quench the thirst for folks who are purchasing or looking to create and build a business themselves. I always use to think how does the car industry survive, I only buy a new car about every 8-10 years and yet millions are being sold every day. Now compare that to the billions of folks online wanting to start a business of their own.

There are a number of examples that I could site but I just wanted to give you my little allegory instead.

So if you and I were walking on the beach today and I said to you, go ahead my WA friend, go out into the water and fill your cup of success today and I will fill mine. Tomorrow we can come back and fill another cup.

Do you think we would run out of Success? Even if there were thousands of us on the beach, do you think it would matter?

That is how saturated this market is. Not much. I have been searching and experimenting with online marketing for around 6 years since I retired. I had never heard of WA until November 2017, when I registered my account. Even so, it was a fluke as I was reading a review for another training program and found this. I was looking hard for solutions and couldn't find it, what does that tell you?

What is here in WA is substance, integrity, support, direction and so much more. Qualities I have been looking for these last 6 years. I have done more in the last 52 days than I ever have in any stretch of time. It's not me, it's this system. Trust it, Follow it Believe it!

Can you dig it,
Damo

I've heard that Amazon has over 500 million products and there are 3.75 billion people using the internet everyday. All it's going to do is keep expanding.

Indeed, they have to buy from somebody, why not you.
Damo

Loved the post today, Damo. I worried about that when I first arrived here too. Not saturated in the least. I believe we've only skimmed the surface.

All the best,
Sue

Thanks Sue to you as well.
Damo

I arrived on a fluke and the same kind of journey, damo. It's only been 2 months here at WA, and I feel good about my choice.
I think your awesome man!
Merry Christmas

Thank you sir, you are as well. I think we are all winners participating here. A very Merry Christmas to you.

Damo, great post but 2107? Do you have a time machine? LOL. Jay

Haha thanks Jay I always make stupid mistakes.

I have made some that would turn a regular statement into a PC nightmare because of autofill. Jay

I had that concern when I first came here. I looked at home many people were joining every day and thought "I can't get referrals... There's not enough people out there!"

Now I laugh at that.

Yea it really is kind of funny when you think about it.

Hi Craig Can you please tell me where I can get the full WA story on referrals. I am ready to post a blog that has a a spot perfectly a propos for a subtle suggestion that could bring referrals! Can't finish my post until I understand WA policy and method of use.

Hi!

Sorry I took so long to respond.
What precisely do you need to know? Have you gone through bootcamp or are you focusing on certification? Have you read any of the info on referrals yet?
Feel free to PM me and I will try to answer any questions you have , or at least point you in the right direction.

I am writing about "writing as a retirement activity" and it seems to be an appropriate setting to (very subtly) drop in a few words about WA. That's why I need to jump ahead a bit in my training just to discover what/how/when/where I can do whatever has to be done that if a searcher knocks on WA's door as a result of a brief mention on my website, I get the referral fee WA pays if/when that person joins WA. My website is not a recruitment site at all.

No, I have not gone through bootcamp yet. Why do you ask?
Nor have I read anything about referrals....
The whole point of my message to you was Where do I find all that goodstuff about the subject? It will probably guide me how to even raise the subject in my website.....given that I have already started to mention the idea of starting a website, because that calls for alot of writing.

I am sure you Can help me...so can I count on your Ambassadorial help on this matter, Craig?
John.

Well, as I said, I will help any way I can. :)

I don't think you have to worry about being too subtle with guiding people toward WA.... Being subtle means that they probably won't take action. That doesn't mean you need to be aggressive about it, but if your topic is about writing, you could certainly include a couple of lines like "writing has been a great activity for me, and learning how to make this blog/ site has been great. You could learn to do the same at Wealthy Affiliate". (That isn't really how I'd phrase it, but it's just to give you an idea) Then all you have to do is include your link for them to click on, and it will bring them here.

Anyone who follows your link into WA and creates a membership will be YOUR referral. You could do this many different ways. You could have a bit of text and a link, as I just mentioned. You could alternately have a banner somewhere on your page. You can make it fairly unobtrusive if you are concerned about that.

I believe that your main concern is being able to get the credit for anyone that you guide here. Don't worry. That is automatic so long as they follow one of your links. You can find them by clicking on the black box with a plane symbol at the top of this page (6 boxes to the left of your profile pic). You can find all sorts of info about the referrals there. The main training, of course, is in the bootcamp, which is why I asked if you had looked at that yet. It can be accessed via the black button on the left-hand menu.

I hope that starts to give you some idea, and answer your question...

Thank you Craig. I have looked at everything at the button with 'plane and 100. Another (implied) part of my question was...

How much is paid per referral that successfully joins WA?
Is it due when they join?
Or if and when they become Premium?
Or any other criterion?
and Is it paid in money (eg pay pal) or as a credit against future
annual membership fees?.....or whatever?

These are also what I meant about "the goodstuff" !
Have you personally done some referrals?
Anything you want to share about that experience?

Thank you Ambassador Craig.
Beginner John.

Here are all the details Jean:

Thank you so much. You really understood what information I needed, so I went right to it. What a great Christmas present Damo !!

Haha awesome Jean, glad to help. Love your spirit.
Damo

Hi. So, I am sorry if I hadn't fully understood the questions. The page that Damo sent has the main information. It should also have been included in what you read if you clicked on the plane.

You may have already found this for yourself, but in case you haven't I'll try to respond to your last message.

-- When someone joins, you initially get a couple of credits that are equal to a dollar. You can let these add up over time, or you can trade them in for things like comments on your site (which is what I normally do).

-- If the referral goes premium, you will earn $8 for their first month. If they continue to stay on a a premium member, you will receive $23.50 for each new month that they stay, or $175 if they go yearly. It's better for them to go yearly, better for you if they stay monthly. The minimum payout here is $10 I believe, so if you get one premium referral, you won't get paid until you get a second ($8 doesn't reach the $10 minimum, so it is held until you make a second referral, or the member pays a second month). Payment (to you) is at the end of the month.

I have had a couple of referrals, but only one of them went premium. As a result, I have never been paid yet, aside from the credits.

Hope that helps. I'll try to answer any questions you have, or if I don't know the answer, I'll try to help you find it.

This is a great question Damo, and I agree with your answer. There are a LOT of English speakers on the web, and many millions of them would like to write, like to make on-line income and NEED what WA offers.

I am occasionally surprised when I search for something and find the best answer in a powerful article that seems to be by a WA member I never heard of. That is not saturation, that is success of the system. It makes me optimistic about the future of WA and the value of my training and support here.

I'm not here to sell WA memberships, but I feel good about the prospects for those who are. The market is huge...
I do think there would be value in adding more support for Mandarin and Spanish, however - why limit most of WA to English, when there are billions who need WA and don't speak it?

Cheers,
Steve

Good points all Steve.

Penultimate line of your post...Delete "then" insert "than", tsk tsk Otherwise jolly good stuff as the British put it!

Thank you sir, I try but I always make at least one silly mistake. haha.

Great message. I spend a lot of time outside of WA and it is obvious that there are unending people out there who could really do with what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer. They just don't know it yet. But then again, neither did I so go spread the word.
Saturation will never happen.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Yes agreed, I was out Christmas shopping today and ran into someone just like that.
Damo

Excellent post Damo. What powerful lessons in one go here.

I can dig it.

Thank you sir and Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you as well.
All the best!
David

The numbers are not going to stop growing. The number of people looking online, and the number of people putting something in front of the people looking.

Yes especially as jobs become downsized in this transitioning economy.
