Hey John,

I forgot to mention the other day that I am going to still be offering you my awesome bonuses if you join within the next 4 days.

Here are the bonuses that you are going to be getting:

(1) You are going to get a 59% discount on your first month Premium membership (only $19)
(2) You are going to get personal and private access to me! If you ever have a question or need help with your campaigns, I will be there. Where else can you access the CEO of the company for help?
(3) I am going to be giving you my "Diamond Traffic Bonus". This is going to show you how I walk into absolutely any niche and get unlimited traffic.

But only if you join in the next 4 days (this is what I call my "action takers" bonus).

Anyways, just wanted to mention this. Hope your training is going well John and Reply to this if you do have any “pending” questions. :)

Hi Kyle
I hope you had, or are still having, a great vacation, because the way you must be working (8 days a week!) you SURE deserve it.

I am (very slowly) working on the first of my two beginner"s sites
using what I now fear may be a much too "general" niche GoingGreen. My question is, does there exist a site where I could
enter GoingGreen and see a breakdown of several dozen sub-
Niches within going green, and if so does it show which ones are the best in terms of such criteria as volume of traffic, or whatever
works best ??

Second question is ... When you say that I have only 4 days to upgrade to Premium to get the goodies you listed.....since I know I will not be able to do so in four days (more likely 4 weeks or months) does this mean that I will NEVER have the goodies???

At this stage I feel a little like the man who takes a shortcut through a swamp, suddenly spots an alligator tail then realizes that
it is in the direction of his only escape route !!!

May good things continue to come to you
Best

I would recommend that you narrow it down a bit, what aspect of "going green" do you want to help people out with? There are literally 100's of much more targeted niches within this broader niche.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

Thanks Kyle.
Here's one answer to the question you asked...
I want to help people who have little or no idea how they can contribute to Going Green. If questioned they would say
"What am I supposed to DO?"

Would that be a more specific approach?

Going green for newbies.

That could be a direction you head with your niche. :)

LOL! Love your profile! I wonder if some of those categories can move around at times?! eg I hated facebook but have learned to use it to my advantage and it pays for me to be in here right now :)

I used to hate winter, tapioca and stand up comedians but have found exceptional circumstances where they work out nicely at times...very occasionally...but got to agree with you on the rest of the dislikes!

LOLOLOL! the likes are an hilarious combination, love that you threw pasta in there though it is no longer on my likes list personally, not since I discovered quinoa and became gluten sensitive...hm...some TED talks for sure....nature...and ancient Hebrew poetry

I may have to totally redo my profile after reading yours! :D

Hi MozMary
Thank you for your nice, and encouraging message....shame on me for letting 6 days go by before answering...we had stay-over visiting family and I had to leave my laptop untouched for several days....back on line, now.
I wish everyone would use the likes and dislikes approach because it tells alot about a person. It would also help us to contact people who are closer to ourselves, since it is so revealing!

I guess that since you have Premium and Ambassador status you are WAY ahead of me....still struggling to grasp this whole complex business. May I ask you a couple of things??
Here goes: At what stage in the dozens and dozens of lessons
can one begin to make money, because we are both retired and cannot afford even $49 US (after exchange $61.25 Canadian/mo
without that much coming in as extra revenue) to upgrade ??

...and question number 2....Can one start to actually earn money while still a Beginner (non-Premium), though I realize that with Premium status things should probably improve faster ??

I shall now klick on your "Follow me" and hope that helps....

Best wishes
JeanLouis

Hi JeanLouis, you are correct about the likes and dislikes approach, but you are the first person I've seen do that, so you could be starting a trend with that...it's a lovely exercise to do too

as for earning: I scooted through the lessons in two week and popped up 10 articles and got a referral some months later [without having done any proper work, but my articles were good], that almost paid for my membership right there, then I went into a facebook group and got another member, so that left me free - it can be done in various ways - I just showed you how to do it with minimal effort, and one guy if you go to his profile EricCantu he had 40 premiums inside 8 months of joining, do the math on that income even if they only stay the average length of time, [mine stayed] You will then see some people talk about doing tons of work and getting no traffic, well I find they don't do all the training, they certainly don't master it, and they do some other strange things to get traffic in the wrong places - so it is very individual. Look up success stories for an idea of what can be done, using the search bar and dashboard. Last week I also randomly got $69 commission in another niche - I have posted some blogs on how to get into that, have a look. That is only pocket money, but it pays the membership and extras, that is what can be done without being established on a website...obviously to go the whole hog will mean earning a proper income....but it does take work just like building an income off line

notice there are options to go yearly [and in December there will be another Black Friday deal which takes monthly down to something like $26.50]

Also remember that the monthly membership pays for your hosting, high end hosting with a lot of extras for up to 25 sites, that means everything is free, because try getting that sort of hosting elsewhere for even one site and see the costs involved, it's the high end price range of all the other hosting companies!

But if you can't afford it right now, you can stay starter and keep building the free sites, learn as much as you can and come in when you are ready. Yes you can make income without being premium, it is just half the commission rate, which is still high. If you go premium you can't go back down to starter because it unlocks all the training.

Hi John,

Brad here again. I just wanted to followup with a specific example of an advanced strategy you can take advantage of here at Wealthy Affiliate that is not possible anywhere else.

First, I noticed that you have not yet completed your account setup. Setting up your profile is key to getting the most out of Wealthy Affiliate. This is your calling card when it comes to contributing to the community and getting other members here to help you out learning strategies like the one I will explain here in this post. People are just less likely to respond to "invisible" people.

To complete your setup, go into your profile page (click the box to the right side the blue Rank box at the top right of any page in Wealthy Affiliate to get there). From the top of that page, click the big green "Edit Your Profile Here" button to enter a bit about yourself and your goals.

Then click on the green "Add an Image Here" button to upload an image of yourself or your dog or anything really that you would like people to associate with you. Some people change their images frequently just for fun, like rotating between their favorite Star Trek characters or whatever.

Ok, back to the advanced strategy I promised.

A somewhat little known fact about Wealthy Affiliate is that the internal blog system here ranks highly in Google. If you are in your profile page reading this, then you should see a "My Blog" link at the top of the page. Go there and simply click on the big blue "Create a new blog" button to create your first blog post.

This is different from your own free blogs that you will create here using SiteRubix. The most well known aspect of the My Blog feature is that all your followers within Wealthy Affiliate will be notified of your new posts. That is how most people think about it and how they use it.

However, with the My Blog feature the blog posts you create show up directly on http://my.wealthyaffiliate.com. The posts are accessible there by anyone searching on Google (no need for them to be a WA member). According to the backlink checker I use, http://my.wealthyaffiliate.com has over 35,000 backlinks pointing to it from other websites. Type site:my.wealthyaffiliate.com into Google and you will find it has over 400,000+ pages indexed in Google. This makes it an authority site and gives it ranking power in Google.

Even better, when non-members access your WA blog posts from google you automatically get credit if they signup for Wealthy Affiliate (e.g. your WA cookie gets set even without your affiliate link, you get credit based on the fact that they visited your WA blog post).

And it gets even better. When non-members visit your WA "My Blog" posts, if they click on a link on that page it automatically opens a signup form for Wealthy Affiliate, where you get credit for that referral in the WA affiliate program. Even if they don't click on a link, that signup form pops up after 15 or 20 seconds of arriving on that page. Outside visitors can either signup or close the popup and continue reading your blog post. You can see how this works by creating your own WA blog post and visiting that page in a browser where you are not logged in to WA.

There is no other program out there that allows you to write posts directly on their authority site and make commissions from those posts. In your other promotions on your own blogs you can link to your WA My Blog posts without using your affiliate link, since you get credit anyway. There can be various advantages to this, as you will learn in later training here at WA.

The only caveat to this strategy is your My Blog posts should be helpful to the other WA members. You can't blog about dog training for instance, it should be about affiliate marketing, blogging and online business topics.

However, since it is all optimized to support you in making money from the WA affiliate program, this isn't really a downside. Just use your SiteRubix niche sites to promote niche topics like dog training, and use your WA Blog as (one way) to promote the WA affiliate program. For example, you could use one of your free Site Rubix sites for a favorite niche topic, and one for an online business related niche to promote the WA affiliate program.

Here is a link that explains more about how to make the most of this strategy:
Here is the next step in that training that shows how one WA Blog post is ranking in Google: Hope that helps!

Brad
