Answer from Carson as to where the Rules & Regulations are located.
WHERE ARE THE RULES POSTED AT WA?
This post is in reference to the many member's concerns I've gotten from a recent question I asked about newbies posting their personal website links for evaluation.
PLEASE CONTACT THE LEADERS.
Many of you suggested to contact the leaders to see if there is a general place to have the Rules and Regulations of WA located, especially regarding SPAM within the community.

I PMed CARSON.
So, I took the liberty to PM Carson and he responded almost immediately!
He appreciated the feedback and gave me the answer:
The Rules and Regulations, including the SPAM no-no link is placed within the BLOG EDITOR on the BOTTOM to the left of the PUBLISH button--"About Blogging at WA."
When you click on "About Blogging at WA," the Rules and Regulations pop up. At the bottom of this list is another link, "Click here to read the full rules."
This link is the SPAM link that is located in the CLASSROOMS and is called "Wealthy Affiliate -- The Open Education Project."
They located the Rules and Regulations here so that 100% of the people see them BEFORE they post a blog!
WELL, THERE YOU HAVE IT!
Carson also said this concern was definitely a good suggestion because "dropping links and soliciting people to outside sources is certainly not kosher."
He also said that they'd "see what they can do to improve on making these rules more clear and easy-to-understand."
To be honest with you, I have never clicked on this link within the Blog Editor, and this is the 163rd blog post I've written! It has always been right in front of me! Maybe they'll also include it someplace where it's more visible. They now are alert to this concern.
Has anyone ever clicked on this "About Blogging at WA" link in the Blog Editor?
I see it below as I write this blog post!

I checked "About Blogging at WA" periodically. even though I have been on this platform for 18 months, I still like to make sure that I'm writing within the guideline.
On a weekly basis, I see people posting their personal links on this platform, and I make sure to provide gentle correction.

Sure.. I read it before I posted my first blog. But it wouldn't hurt to have it elsewhere.

Hi Erin, Thanks for the post. I have never noticed the link before, although I believe that there is a link somewhere in the training in this regard.
I agree with you, it should be in some highly visible location. I will now go and look for the link :-)

I think the first intro video in the training should be about the rules and regulations in a comic strip creative video fashion! Rules and regulations stick better in a fun way like Smokey The Bear commercials :) we are all just big kids at heart who still love to watch informative cartoon vids lol
I agree with this, make it in the video training is better. There is so much other stuff here you can get lost in and people should start in the video training so why not add it there?
