My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 32 of 52
First of all, allow me to start my update by apologising for the missed update of last week, week 31 of this year. As anticipated in my last update, the days that followed were busy for me. In addition, I was getting ready to travel to Italy to visit my mother. And funnily enough, I got to work more when I was away this week, than the days leading up to my holiday. But enough of the explanations. The important thing isn't that I am back, rearing and roaring to go.
A break is good
In the weeks and days leading to my break, I was most worried and, I must admit, I started feeling slightly overwhelmed for not being able to produce and achieve as much as I would have liked both with my family obligations and with my online work.
And then the break came. And where I worried that it may bring further delay to my work schedule, it in fact recharged my creational batteries and helped me 'figure out' how to revamp my work.
With the newly found boost of energy, I managed to move onto Level 5 of Bootcamp - although I am currently still working on some tasks from Level 4.
The main thing I took away from Level 4 was a new vision on how to connect with my potential visitors. This led me to put together a to-do list (a written one, not the usual one in my mind!) on how to update old reviews, and on how to better promote my website and make them more user friendly. This includes changing the main menu on one of the two, and adding widgets to help better navigation.
So far, my to-do list has as many as 23 points, which also include ideas for future posts and reviews. This list should keep me going for a while, I am hoping.
Now I am back home, I started writing again in full swing. I published a post today, and started a review already to be published, hopefully, in the next few days.
The good news
One of my main concerns recently has been that I have not made any Amazon sales since the early part of July.
However, on a positive, Amazon has sent me my first payment from my sales Jan-May. I promise you, it's not big bucks at all compared to big earnings that some of you have hit, but I look at it as a starting point.
On another front, I have also got my first commission from AWin affiliate program. I suggest you all look into AWin, as they pay a healthy £25 commission for each sale. As good as WA!
I am not going to add the link to my AWin review, but if you really would like to support, go to my Ideas for Home Working website link under my profile picture column and search for the review there. All AWin ask for is a meager £5 deposit, which they then refund on payment of your first commission :)
Yet, what the lack of Amazon sales has made me understand is that I need to take my websites to the next level.
That is why I am now looking and researching into autoresponders to start my email campaign.
I have also started diversifying by joining Fiverr where I am looking to, hopefully, get additional earnings from the occasional writing gigs. And I have started putting together a portfolio of pictures, hoping to sell them on paid for photo platforms.
On this note, I wish you all a nice summer break. Do not fret, as with your mind rested from the hassle of the every day obligations, I am sure you will come up with proactive ideas to improve your online business too!
And for those of you who have already had their summer holiday, do leave your comment below (and push the 'Like This' green button) to tell us whether your holiday brought a new lease of online life in you, and in what way.

Good afternoon Giulia,
Nice to see you back with full batteries.
Apart from a 4 day trip to Madrid and a weekend in Alicante, there will not be any holiday this summer. Anyhow in the high season the roads are packed so it is better to stay home. My friends always tell me I live in paradise so where would I be happier?
Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske
That's right Taetske, you live 'on holiday' :) Then again, I am often asked what I am doing living in UK, when I could have lived in sunny Italy #lol
