Hi all, my name is Giulia (yes, Italian origins from the funny spelling, you will have gathered). Like many of you I guess, what's prompted me to join WA is the fact that after working for sooo many years for employers - and don't get me wrong, I feel blessed that I have always been able to be in employment - I am now reaching that cross road point in life where I feel the need to dedicate more time to my family but with no detriment to my earnings. And that's why I have been looking to alternative ways to work from home whilst reducing my office hours, without my income having to suffer. And I shall be honest, of all the ventures I have come across, this is the first one not to sound scam.

I have now been with WA for over a year as a Premium member, and I do not regret a single penny (yes, it is pennies, as I pay in pound sterling being based in U.K.) of the $299 I have spent on my yearly subscription at all!! The teaching you get here, the support of over 800,000 members, what this platform gives you in term of access to tools, information and on-one training, is all second to none stuff. And now I can also start seeing my baby websites starting maturing into teenagers and attracting lots of attention from readers, hence starting hitting the front page of Google search, which is most vital for exposure.

Now, I have to be honest, the road has been steep, trying to balance my day job with the daily demands of my family and the added pressure of wanting to get my online business going. Like with all other jobs, especially the self-employed ones, you need to be prepared to put in the hours and tons of commitment. But the outcome makes it worth for all the hours that I have sacrificed to the expense of a good night sleep.

There's still so much to learn and do in terms of taking my business forward and start monetising from it, but with your support I can make this happen. Lets share experiences and learn from each other. Join me here at WA and don't feel shy to follow my profile!!!

Money Goals
By Xams16 I would like to think that I have established my earnings to match the 2 days a week that I want to cut down from my regular 9-5 mon-fri job.

Dream goal would be for then, once I have cut down the 2 days a week 'at work', form me to give more time to this venture so as to boost earnings to meet my current salary - and this possibly by end of 2017.

For now, I'd probably only be able to invest a couple of days a week between thur pm and scrapping hours from the w/end and evenings.

Money I would be happy earning

Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals

Superb goals Giulia! You have a large network and community here at WA that you can leverage for help and support along the way, myself included.

It all starts with a goal...then is followed by action...then is followed by results. This is going to be how it pans out for you and I can't wait to hear about all of your successes in the days, weeks, and months ahead! :)

Loving these goals Giulia!

The reality here at WA is that so much can be achieved if people are prepared to take action on what they continue to learn from the training and WA community.

Your goals suggest to me that you are here to make a really positive change in your life. I sense that you are going to grab this opportunity with both hands and give it everything you've got!

I wish you every success on your WA journey, Giulia, and by all means drop me a line if you need a hand with anything along the way :-)

Cheers,

Marcus

Hi Giulia,
thank you for following me, it is nice to meet you.
I feel the same way, I have had the opportunity to work with great corporations and learned lots from them, made good friends and be in touch with different cultures which, by the way, I have enjoyed a lot. However, I feel, it is time to have the flexibility to enjoy and to spend more time with my family.

Talk soon,

Lisa

It will be challenge but I think with the effort and hard work it is doable. I too am grateful that I have always been employed but I am looking into ways to generate income without taking a loss or a hit. Scammers are everywhere. I researched this company WA and so far good. In fact one former WA affiliate had trash WA on Rip Off . com only to retract her allegations a few months later. I thought that was actually a good indicator for both the former WA member and the company. Most people don't realized that you can't trash a company or individual without recourse. In other words, the allegations have to based on truth. Obviously her statements were not which may indicate that WA's legal eagles may have stepped in and explained the facts of life OR she may have realized that she had overstepped bounds by untrue allegations. I thought it was really sign.

Good luck to you.

Excellent insight Marian, I might look into it, not as I think there may be some truth to the allegations, but rather which grounds were used to discredit the allegations. And who knows, I may end up doing a blog about it :)

Unfortunately internet users seem to think that they just go off on anyone or any company without o consequences. What folks don't know is that they can be sued for libel. There was a recent case in NY, I think the plaintiff was awarded a 7 figure settlement for damages. It is a risky business to defame anyone or any company without proof. Excellent idea about the blog....

Thank you for the follow GiuliaB! I have not been here as long as you have, but I am getting the message that this is a great place to be. I checked out your livingwithaborderterrier.com site. Very nice. I tried to leave a comment, but I got a WP error that said I needed to enable cookies and JavaScript. Well those are enabled, so I don't know what is up with that. I had someone from WA tell me they had the same problem when they tired to leave a comment on my website. If you know why this happens, please fill me in.
Wishing you all the best!

Thanks for trying Barb, and of course I shall be much grateful of keep trying and you finally manage. Unfortunately I don't know what may have cause the problem, other than maybe you were working on tablet rather on a laptop or desktop computer? I try to do as much work as I possibly can from my tablet, but I have to admit, it is very limiting.
All the best in your endeavours here at WA. I am relatively newbie as well, especially as I started struggling with keeping up with lessons and populating my sites for the last 2 months. So I virtually have not progressed as much and as fast as other members who have been here as long as me.
I'm not going to kid you, it's not going to b e easy, but it's certainly extremely rewarding and fulfilling. And the support you get from this wonderful community is something I have never come across anywhere else.
All the best, my lovely lady. I should look out for your progress and for your websites too. Giulia :)

Giulia, I see you are making some good progress through the Affiliate Bootcamp. Just wanted to pop by and see if you need a hand with anything?

I also wanted to mention the success rates of Bootcamp. Absolutely everyone that has taken action on all of the phases of Bootcamp has a business that is generating consistent income online. MANY of these folks are going to be at our super affiliate conference next year.

I want this to be you and I want you to succeed with your promotions. So, please promise me that if you ever need a hand or feel stuck as you move forward, that you will get in touch with me!

Trust me, I know things can be a little overwhelming sometimes and I don't want you feeling like that.

Anyways, just checking in. Get back at me if you need anything Giulia.

Aaah, Mr Kyle, forgive my cynicism, but I know that this is possibly one of the automatic pre-set messages available to premium members and such like. In saying so, right from starters the Bootcamp has given me further ideas for my existing website http://livingwithaborderterrier.com as well as helping me build my 2nd website http://ideasforhomeworking.com. I am looking forward to going deeper into the Bootcamp lessons. I know you probably receive tons of messages every day, but I promise - and I hope you don't mind - that if I do get stuck, I shall ask help from the Master, i.e. you!!
Thank you for caring, Kyle. Giulia :) :) :)

Cool, looks like you are making some really good progress Giulia and that you are true terrier fan! ;)

I do have a recommendation though, I find your header images are far too large and take away from your actual content. People need to scroll down in order to see your content. The visuals and the relevant imagery should be placed directly inside your content instead of a static and overwhelming header that shows on every page.

I would either minimize these or remove them altogether, they are not offering much value to your readers and they do consume a good part of the first fold of all of your pages (on your terrier site). Just something to consider.

Funny you say that, Kyle, as I've been toying with the idea of whether to add header pics or not for a long time.. The size is the one suggested by the theme, but it has only been a recent addition. But you are right, they are far too deterring from the content underneath. Thanks for the advice, my friend, I shall definitely remove them. And of course, thanks for taking the time to look into my site xxx

Yeah, incorporate your images within your content where it is relevant to do so. It will have a much more profound impact, it will lead to more readability.

I am still relatively new at this Ken, so more so I can appreciate the support I get from learning from the WA community. I have come at a stand still in the last few weeks, which I need to snap out of, but I am really determined to make this work and I firmly believer there is no better platform than WA to make this venture work. Thank you for your kind words. Giulia :)
