Check Your Website Traffic on Google Search Console!
I must admit, sometime I find it counter-productive when I come across blogs by other members boasting (albeit unintentionally, I am sure) about their progress and the money they have made.
But today I would like to share with you my findings of last night when I went onto the newly refurbished Google Search Console to check on my websites' traffic.
Yes, this is my first website (picture above), which only in the last 3 months has received 77,7K impressions (the number of times people see my posts, reviews and pages) and a surprising 5.8K clicks - yes, 5.8K times that a visitor actively clicked on one of my pages, posts or reviews!!!
Now, for those of you who are not familiar with my first website, LivingWithABorderTerrier.com (yes, it's to do with dogs in general, and more specifically with Border Terriers, and if you are interested, you can find the link at the bottom of the column on the right-hand side of my profile page), I launched it back in March 2016, when I first joined here.
But hey, what am I telling you all this for?
Because, my dear friends, I want to show you that, by working your socks off for the last 2 and half years, I have managed to get these many clicks, just in the last 3 months.
And at the risk of sounding cliche here, truly if I could do it, with a website centred on my favourite and quite specialist niche, so can you!!!
Yes, I know to some of you this might not sound a lot. But to me finding this report on Google Search Console really made my day yesterday.
It is proof and testament to the fact that by following WA teachings to the letter, by working hard (as I am sure we all are) and with perseverance and patience, we really can break all the SEO ranking barriers. We can and will get noticed with our work, we will then start attracting visitors regularly. And with visitors, we will convert and start monetizing.
My referral sales are becoming more regular. The only reason why I am still only making a modest earning is due to the fact that I have mostly used Amazon products on this specific website. I sell Amazon products easily, but Amazon commission rates are ridiculously low. So, before you go for Amazon, look around for better offers.
I hope you haven't found my little success story counter-productive too. My aim here is to show you that, once again, if I could do it, so can you.
I want you to leave here believing that you will succeed too, just with a little bit of patience and plenty of determination.
I believe in you :)
