My first payment from AdSense: time to celebrate!
Today I received some great news from Google AdSense. They have sent me my first payment after reaching their payment threshold which is £60.
So today, I am £62.59 richer due to my sites.
This is really exciting as it represents income from my sites just from people visiting and clicking around on a few ads or just because they were exposed to them.
I try not to have too many ads on the site and not on every page or post but this is very encouraging. It has taken 6 months mind, so I'm clearly not going to be rich overnight, but I have seen a steady increase in income from AdSense each month over that time so hopefully that will continue, and it will take less time to get back up to the threshold again. And since I am a yearly member, this amount represents approximately 20% of my annual fee, so that's not bad I think!
I hope this is some small evidence to others out there that the training and the process works, so keep going. It will all come good in the end.

YAYYYYY! Way to go! I also use Adsense Ads on a couple of my sites, and the money is increasing. However, I'm yet to get a check. Soon, I hope! Great job!

I took adsense off my site as for some reason I couldn’t decide on placement. I have no idea why and took a lot of time trying to sort it. I think it might be because mine is a U.K site. The ads made my site really messy looking.
I might see if they have updated their U.K system.

Hi Karen and thank you. My sites are both UK as well but I don't have the ads everywhere. Worth looking again I think. Although it's not a fortune, it is something.
