Scam! I hate thieves!

So, this morning I'm checking my 3,000 emails (I have issues), and I see an email that says I changed my email address on my bank account. I call my wife to see if she has changed it, because I don't ever go into it. I click on the link to see where it takes me. The person used bit.ly to shorten the URL, but they obviously don't know how to cloak an address. It went to http://www.sandragamboa.com/wp-content/wels/online...

I took the link off to show you see the address in the permalink. The blog is in Spanish, but I used the translate option.

It is a blog created with WordPress. It is not fully set up, it's just there.I don't know exactly how this would work getting your information. It looks like an amateur crook practicing the art of theft and not visual arts.

By the way, before Wealthy Affiliate I wouldn't have known how to read the URL information and I wouldn't know about URL shortening, nor anything about cloaking. I tried to put in a fake password to see if it asked me for more information but it wouldn't let me.I am notifying my bank.

I am calling my bank when it opens, and sharing with you.

Scammers annoy me soooo much! Cheers, William.

You should research that name. It looks like a girls name. Good Luck. Donna

Scummy Scammers!

Don't push anything just delete it and call your bank. I wouldn't have even opened it. Just call the bank. I have been scammed a lot also and I even had the Federal Trade Commission involved a few times. They are low life people that are too lazy to work themselves. Oooooooh that makes me mad. Keep in touch. Donna

scumbags at work!
never click on those links. log directly into your bank account and see what's going on.

The internet is like the Wild, Wild West. You have to be extra careful about emails that claim to be from your bank, ISP, and what other accounts you may have online. I never open them I go straight to the account to see if there is a message. If not I delete, delete, delete.

Hi Ed, very annoying. Irv.

Please be careful to click those links, some are able to instal little programs on your computer who will harm you

Very devious tricky tactic!
