Hi guys thanks for leaving comments. Dreamer56 was onto something, seems like it was one of the plugin updates messed up the comment function.
I disabled all plugins and enabled one by one and found that the plugin Autoptimize was the one causing it. Deleting it makes the comment function works again.
Could be this the issue to do about your theme,

I was doing some site audit on my own website and suddenly I was unable to access my site anymore. If I use VPN I could access it, so I think my IP address has been blocked due
Which plugin are you using? Plugins like 'Limit Login Attempts' and 'Wordfence' can lock you out for a period of time. If you're still locked out then you'll need to go in (using VPN) and tweak the settings of the plugin to whitelist your IP address and/or reduce the time of lockout.
I'm not using any plugins that limit IP access, I'm looking to change my home IP address since only 1 IP is affected. Thanks for the help!
Make sure when you connect through VPN that you end your session properly...then clear and restart....hope this helps...VPN can be a pain sometimes.

I just noticed you said you were doing a "site audit." What do you mean by that? Do you mean you can't login at wp-admin?
If this is the site you are referring to http://mastermyfinance.com/ it opens just fine on my computer. Try clearing your cache and go to it again, or even shut down your computer and restart, then visit the website address.

After much searching and testing, the plugin I found that Google seemed happiest with is Yet Another Stars Rating by Dario Curvino.
Hope you find this helpful.
