WordPress 3.9 Arrives With A Smoother Media Editing Experience
Have you updated your WordPress recently to 3.9? If you haven't, WordPress 3.9 arrives with a smoother Media Editing Experience.
Here are a few of the improvements that I really enjoy:
1. Improved Visual Editing
You can now past right into your WordPress editor from your Word Processor without worrying about the messy styling that you would usually get from before.
2. Edit Image Easily
It is now very easy to edit your images while editing your posts including scaling your images directly from the WordPress editor.
3. Drag and Drop Your Images
You can now just drag the images from your desktop and drop them right into the editor.
4. Live Widget and Header Previews
You can now add, edit and rearrange your site's widgets right in the theme customizer. In other words you can preview the changes live and only save it once you are ready.
I think WordPress is growing for the better and is making it even easier for us publishers.

As of April 17, 2014 Ultimate TinyMCE update, it is very IMPORTANT that you are aware that with their update version of TinyMCE 5.3 the plugin will NOT function properly with WP versions 3.9 and later.
Instead, please switch to using their updated "WP Edit" plugin.
The WP Edit plugin is the successor of "Ultimate TinyMCE".

For some reason, I have been getting automatic updates. All the improvements will definitely improve the website developer's experience. I wouldn't have to pull my hair out so much.lol
Thanks for laying these out very clearly. It's good to know what exactly changed because most of the time, I have no idea what's included in the updates.

I also have them to automatically update my sites. One less thing to worry about. Just make sure that you are also automatically backing up your site daily in case something goes wrong on a future update.
Glad that with this WP update it can improve the website developer's experience and ease.
what is not to like?
I like the fact that they are now making the end user experience (in relation to CMS not site user) much better. Soon a noob will be able to get most things done intuitively if they carry on at this rate...
It will push the value addd stuff towards content generation and engagement which is where it belongs IMO
