More Youtube Sales
Hey, just wanted to update the YouTube video I made last month. This video has made $54 in the last month and gotten me 15 sales with 1200 views.
The most shocking thing to me is the amount of clicks it's getting me to Amazon. As of now it's getting me nearly 70 clicks to Amazon a day and the video took me a day to make. My site which I worked on for 6 months is getting me 200 clicks a day to Amazon (the conversion rate is higher with my Google traffic at 4.5% at the moment and my YouTube traffic is 2.5%).
At this point making YouTube videos is a must for 2019. Keep in mind this video is winter oriented and the traffic peaks in November to March. I'm expecting this video to get between 15k to 20k views. If it keeps pace that's over $800 for a days work.
Even if I get 25% of that, that's still $200 for one days work!
These results are much better than I thought they'd be and I'm going to devote time daily to making YouTube videos now.
If you're curious my YouTube videos are very similar to these one:

In terms of quality I think these videos are a step above mine (I'd take my keyword research skills though)
It's not hard to make these videos, either. You need a decent mic for $50 to $100 and a video recording software. Camtasia is great for $259 I believe. That's all you need. Your face does not need to be on camera - mine isn't.
The video page above has 21 million views in total. Let's say they make $25 in affiliate sales per 1000 views (half of what my video is getting), That's $525,000!!!
Even if you're only making $10 per 1000 views you're still getting around $210,000.
$5 per 1000 views gets you $105,000.
$2.5 per 1000 views get you $52,500
That's not even including ad revenue which would give you an additional $42,000.
This page has only been around since mid 2016.
Also, when you use Camtasia you can save your videos and edit portions of them whenever you want. This means when the new year rolls around you won't have to remake your entire video and just edit small portions of it. Then reupload it with the new year.
So I'm officially of the belief that YouTube videos are now a must. Don't let the fear of making videos stop you. It's easier to make a best of video than a best of text post. The competition on Youtube is a fraction of the competition on Google. The videos rank immiedeitly too (sometimes within the hour).
Get ahead of the trend and start making videos.
Thanks and I hope you make some videos for 2019!
EDIT: Just to be clear my videos are much more basic than the videos I linked to. I only have pictures and no product video footage.
