I've been wondering how long does Google AdSense is supposed to take to function properly on websites.

I registered on Google AdSense a few days ago and it is still not s

Seems you got some good information there.

By saying that, you're not being helpful

I certainly hope you did not address to me. If you did I would appreciate you telling me. Thank you.

You got the help you wanted from other members why would I give you a redundant answer. I really would appreciate a reply. Thank you.

Make sure that you have an advertising/affiliate disclaimer in place and that each post has a link provided to it. Without it, the ads will not show up.

All right

Hey Jean,

Personally, I think Philip's video says it best: Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks

It can take a few days to several weeks.
Donna:)

Hi - the first piece of code you are sent is simply so Google can inspect your site to see if it is suitable. It can take up to 3 weeks for them to respond. If you have been accepted, you will receive a "congratulations" email.

Takes quite some time if your site hasn’t gotten a lot of traffic yet.

LOL

It took three days for me to get feedback that my site was not ready for their adverts.

Oh

That's strange. I haven't used AdSense for years, but it was usually pretty quick. Just took a little while to work out what the site was about and serve the most appropriate ads.

If you're not seeing anything, are you sure you copied and pasted the AdSense code correctly?

I'll check that out

Can someone explain me the benefits of your articles being indexed fast?

A third of my articles have been indexed so far and I want to know the good points about it

Great question and I learned from the answers below :)

That's what's up

Hey Jean,

Bottom line is if you're not indexed, you will never rank because you're not found by the Googlebots.

Any hopes to rank on page 1 is not possible.

FYI, ranking is an extension of indexing.
By using keywords/keyword phrases that are low hanging fruits your chances for ranking becomes better.

You didn't ask about keywords. But, I decided to do so because keywords play and important role for being indexed and ranked.

Make it a lovely day.

Maxine

It means your article is now visible on Google. 😉

Great

People get to see the content you created.

Thanks

You're welcome.

You want your content to be indexed. It means that the Googlebot has found your information and decided that it follows the rules of conduct and will allow it to be available for search by keywords. It doesn't mean it will rank... That part depends on the keywords you chose & if people are searching for them. Hope that helps!

Makes sense

Simply put, in my opinion, if your articles being indexed, they will have a chance to be ranked and your audiences will find them.

Otherwise, your articles will never be searched by your audiences.

Oh
All right

When your content is indexed, it means that it has been added to the Google (search engine) database. As a result, your content will be displayed in the search results when somebody performs a search for your keyword(s) ...

OK

It will help internet searchers find your website if you rank high on your chosen keyword.

OK

Being indexed simply means that Google is aware of your site.

Googlebot has crawled it and was happy to put it in the Google database.

The next step is to get ranked for your chosen keyword.

OK
