Hello, please my site is 98% complete now. Kindly give me feedback.URL:http://onlinesecuritypro.siterubix.com
Thanks!!
Hi everyone, thanks for all your feedbacks. I am grateful! It means I am in a community where all people are ready to help make my dream come through. I assure you that I will definitely take all your corrections and suggestions into account and believe I will have a very professional site!!
Well, please since I am currently preparing to take my final exams in school, it may appear as if I wouldn't be taking the actions based on your suggestions now. But it does not mean that I have not accepted your corrections. I have accepted them. But since this involves more work, I prefer to finish my very final exams before I continue with my site business.
Thanks for your understanding and help!!!
Hi Dave, You may still need time to consider all the comments you have gotten, Give it a. rest. Prioritize; first things first in their own time of readiness, .Don't treat your site as a rocket ship anxious to leave the launching pad.
I can give you more practical tips such as the use of the ! if you want Just let me know,. - Al Hurley
Hi, David. First may I congratulate you on asking the community for feedback on your website. It is a well known truism in publishing houses and circles that the the worst editor a writer could have is himself.
Before looking at your site, I put myself in the place of the visitor and objectively evaluated it on how well it dealt with what I was looking for, how it would benefit me. how readable it was, the ease of logically sequential navigation. and what is being sold here. I was also looking for reasons that would foster confidence and trust in the author. I wanted to see evidence of credibility.
I'm afraid that I did not see much of any of this. It certainly is not my intention to be discouraging. You have put work and thought into this. You have made a beginning which a lot of us put off and put off and put off again. You did not fail. You have made a beginning!
The only way I can help you is by being honest with you so that you can see the problems and correct them. After that, you will undoubtedly have a very good site. Right now, however, you need to go back to the drawing board on a number of issues.
It does not seem to me that you have a niche here. The millions of people who have Internet service also have security needs. That's pretty broad. In that broad spectrum you have massive competition form the professional giants such as McAfee, Avast, Norton AV, Grisoft, and more. Can you narrow down Internet Security down to a more manageable niche?
What is the purpose of the site. This should be clearly stated on the Home page. Very short, The visitor needs a reason to keep reading. You save it for the About me page where it does not belong. That's not about you. It is not even about purpose; it is more about you selling trying to yourself.and selling your website. The site ought to be selling itself.
Your own writing contrasts with the obvious copy/paste text. People lose interest in you when you are not genuinely yourself.Your own
text needs proof reading and correction in grammar, sentence structure, clarity, and spelling. Your topic is a technical one and professionalism in how you express yourself will be expected to be well written and precise.
In many instances your internal links go back to what the reader has already seen. The happens frequently. Some go to a completely unrelated place. Your page content is often the same thing as in the posts.
The page on helpful security advice is the same as the post where all that is mentioned is Bitdefender. This and many other examples are frustrating and annoying to the visitor. On the Home page there are links to the categories which when clicked bring the visitor right back to the back to the same page he just left. The site is repetitious for an obvious lack of content.
You offer the top or best 10 suites of 2014. You don't give any mention of them.
What are you selling? That is hidden in a post. That information has to be predominant and very easy to find. You tell people you want to help and guide them, but you are making it difficult for them. Your product image links don't work. The link on the little girl is useless; it just shows her picture a second time. What impression does that leave your reader? What you give the reader in the product description is taken right off the product website. It is much too long. The focus needs br on what benefits the buyer, not on the product features. The whole point here is to give reasons to go the product website. He will get the system requirements etc. there.
There are quite a few other things, Dave. If you want more detail, please private message me. My purpose is to help. Please do not be discouraged. A cold and critical eye can be your best friend. Go forward with the confidence that you will win the battles and then the war. As the Brits would say "Bully for you". - Al Hurley
Hi again, David. Correction 6th paragraph, bottom. It should read "It is more about you trying to sell yourself..."Al H
Thanks Al Hurley for your extremely helpful observations, corrections and suggestions. Am grateful. I will take them in action and I believe I will soon have a better site. Thanks!!
Hi there, thanks for your kind words! I am grateful for your words! I guess I will need to put in more work soon see better results. Thanks!!
Hey David, the site is looking good. Here are some suggestions.
1) The text has some format errors on the font page. It looks like there are too many pictures and not enough text, and the image alignment is messing things up.
2) The menus look good!
3) The content looks like it was taken from other websites. This can get you into trouble with the owner of the content and will not get your site ranking. All content has to be 100% unique!
The #1 issue you need to fix right now is getting unique content on your website, because this is YOUR website, so it should be your own ideas and writing.
Hi Nathaniell, thanks very much for your help. Hey, thanks for those technical advices. I will quickly check on them to make the site a better one. Thanks once again.

Need help in choosing the right niche in security software applications.
Thanks everyone, I think I have finally found my niche and how to run the site. Thanks for all your support. Am grateful!!! Nice to meet such great minds here!!!!
Sorry David I'm not saying focus on one product on your site, them three products I mention are different. They are a related upsell from the AVG Antivirus. You could do a post about each one of those products and do what Trialynn said to do comparisons with different brands. You just need to dig a little deeper and find other products or even services related to your niche. There's plenty of info here at WA about niches you could sift through.
Hey David if I my add, you can narrow it down and focus on a particular product and then research products relevant. Lets say for instance your promoting AVG Antivirus. From there you could promote Their AVG 1 Click Maintenance or AVG Disc cleaner.
You get the picture, Use your Google Analytics for testing and tweaking. If you're using jaxxy that's going to make it a hell of a lot easier to find keywords for your product or service, and you may want to consider upgrading to.
There are lots of low hanging fruit keywords to find and with no competition. Just make sure your'e writing for the reader and give them quality not quantity.
Thanks craighoff for that great direction. Well actually its not my target to focus on a particular product. What I actually want to do is write reviews about the top best Internet security softwares on the market. OK,if you are suggesting that I can focus on a particular product, does it mean my whole one site is going to focus on only that single product forever and reviewing it always? How is that possible? Please help.
One of the ideas is do a search for terms like "top 10 PC internet security softwares", then read carefully those articles or reviews. Choose only one (of those 10) software you know well or like most.
Check out its affiliate program whether it's worth to promote. If OK, then you need to dig deeper into it, remember to focus on user's benefits, how that software helps users in protecting their PC online etc...
Try to brainstorm some of the articles related to that software, such as tutorial, troubleshooting issues, updates, tips...(of course, the content you can collect from many sources and RE-WRITE it in your own words.
Try to keep posting your articles every 02 days in your first month of setting up that website. Also, you can consider to monetize your site with Adsense, banner ads...
I hope you get my points here.
To your success. Vuong
Thanks Vuong1213! Thats great.I will try it. But if you say I should post my articles every tow days, do you actually mean that the articles( or all) should be about that one software or other softwares that I want to promote?
Ok,but Vuong I am not going to review or promote only one particular product forever with a whole site. I can't dedicate a whole site to just a single product. Or do you mean like each of my posts/reviews should be about only a product at a time?

Thanks Wayne. Ok,now I want to focus on PC and Internet security softwares.Does it also seem broad or a good niche?
How much do you know,or are willing to research about each product? If you start with one and then want to promote another, you need to decide on some type of comparison chart so that the customer understands the differences in the products. Most of the time each product has advantages over its competitor. Can you point out the differences and allow the customer to make an informed choice based on their needs?
Thanks Trialynn. Well I am ever ready to invest my time into researching about any single product I want to promote. Sure,I think I will go with your idea of comparing the various products I will be promoting. And my question is, should each single or particular review/post I make be about a single product at a time?
Yes. Describe the product and the pros and cons, give it some kind of rating and then go on to the next one. If you describe more than one in the same blog it can get very confusing to the reader, unless you are comparing two, head to head.
Hi guys,I am really stuck here. Since morning I have been figuring out which niche to choose or which one interest me.But to no avail. I don't know what to do again. Actually,my aim of creating a website is to mainly write about some software products in each blog post I will release and then provide affiliate links for visitors to purchase their products. Does anyone has any idea about how I should start or move on? I really need help.
OK, what they are getting at is you niche needs to be more specific. It will be harder to get targeted traffic to your site with such a broad range as just software. You touched on a good niche when you mentioned security software. That's a niche from what I understand. But... I don't know how much security software is out there and it needs to be specificized (is that a word?) to a degree of PC security software or some such. Not too bright on that subject. It's a wonder my PC is still working because I know so little about security software. I've got free McAffee on my PC. So that's all I can help with. Good luck.
Okay, I think I understand your question. Type in software + affiliates in your search bar. That should give you what you are looking for and several from witch to choose. Best of luck!
Thanks Nathaniel for your reply.Well I am interested in security softwares like antivirus, networking softwares and a lot others. Actually what I want to do is build a software review site where I can inform and provide visitors with all information they may need about a particular software product and also provide links to the product site where they can purchase.Thats what I want to do.
Hi Welcome, It's hard for me to say. What software can you write a lot about? Can you be an affiliate?
Thanks Wayne for your concern. Well am not actually thinking of writing about a particular software per say. What I want to do is to write about a particular software in each blog post and provide links to tha software site where they can buy their products. That means the whole blog or site will be about different softwares.
Well affiliate marketing is my main target here.Thats the very reason why I want to create a site where I can promote the products of other people or companies. So I want to be an affiliate.
It seems a little broad to me, it may be better to focus on a certain genre of software, just my thoughts
