Google Chrome v Firefox. Which is Best?
Now the inspiration for this post comes from a reply to a blog I wrote yesterday called
3 Great Ways to Get Content Idea
One of the replies said that Firefox was the readers browser of choice.
So, as Firefox used to be my go to browser of choice until about 4 years ago, when an affiliate venture I was with, had trouble locating my login attempts for an issue they were trying to solve, suggested I use Chrome, I Swapped and have to say, I like Chrome
That said, though, I thought I would compare the two... Because you never know and I know Firefox has had some updates recently.
So this is what I found
Both browsers are equally useful, though Firefox does claim to use 30% Less RAM than Google Chrome. Now this was of interest to me, because I keep my office PC fairly clean, but recently I have been getting messages telling me that the RAM was getting full
Firefox also claims to load websites faster. Now from Previous experience, I do remember this being the case
In terms of Design ( and I know that may not be a biggy) both are fairly easy on the eye, though Firefox does have a slightly larger Back Button as well as simpler settings options and customisable menu bars, so if you prefer that option, then I guess Firefox is for you
Where internet speed was concerned, to be truthful there wasn't a lot to tell between the two, buit the Firefox page load speeds were slightly faster
But, in terms of further features, then this is where the decider was for me because I have to say, I was leaning back towards giving Firefox a go again : )
When it comes to YouTube, Chrome has a feature that supports casting videos, that Firefox does not and as I have chosen to make video marketing one of my main strategies during the next 12 months, then that won the day for me over going back to Firefox.
There really wasn't much to choose between them, save for that one thing and my initial impression on loading firefox which I had previously used for a good number of years was
"Ah I remember that"... However while it may have been good, it wasn't practical!
I also happen to like Googles password manager and Firefox, didn't appear to have one of those either
So, the verdict... Who wins this
It boils down to what you want each browser to do for you really. If you are just starting out, then Firefox is well worth a go, but as you progress on your online journey, then you will find Chrome offers more solutions for business

Thanks for the comparison, Dave. My husband and I always use chrome, however, he recently switched over to firefox and said he likes it better.
He didn't tell me why, since, he was the nerd if the family I was thinking about switching over. But now that I've read your post I will continue to use chrome while my husband tries out Firefox.
hey hi Dave -- actually use both and for different bits ... lol ...
at the end of the day what does it all matter anyway? ...
keep well & happy ... thanks kindly for asking ... ⭐️
Hi, Dave.
"Top Ten Reviews" gives both Firefox and Chrome top marks of 9.8 out of 10.0 but rank Firefox as number one for many of the reasons that you mention.
Fast pages load;
Quick Website Navigation; and,
Security.
"Using live malware and only the browser’s default security settings, we tested its safety features – Firefox correctly stopped more malicious downloads and warned of more dangerous websites than any other popular web browser." - Top Ten Reviews.
They go on to suggest that Chrome is best suited for Android and Safari is best suited for Mac.
I guess it's all about needs and personal preference. I personally like Chrome.
Thank you for sharing this post.
Kindest regards from Canada.
Paul.
You hit it on the head really, its all about needs and preference, which is why I prefer Chrome, but thanks for commenting
I prefer Firefox to Google Chrome as the former gives me a better user experience than the latter. So, if you really want to mind the speed, user experience, I think you'll want to choose Firefox. I'm sure of this.

It is what you start learning with what you think is best. I started with Firefox. Still trying to learn Chrome but keep going back to what I am used too. I have a Hotmail and a Gmail. I seldom use Gmail.
