Bux is out
Here I am, chaps and chapesses, battered, bruised but buoyant.
I can’t see out of one eye and my face feels like I lost a fight with a chainsaw but there we go.
I was back home last night but all I wanted to do was eat something light and go to bed.
I’m on a soft diet for a few days – and no its not geriatric food – it’s lovingly prepared haute cuisine – well, lamb mince and pasta really.
A face full of stitches so KFC, cakes, beer and steak are off the menu. My mouth has two sides to it and they just ain’t working in synchronisation. I keep biting my lip.
The good news is I’m upright, I’m home and raring to go.
Thank you to everyone that has wished me well - I am doing well.
And remember guys, it only hurts when the anaesthetic wears off, and it has.
Keep in touch everyone, I need you lot around me.
And I will get round to replying and thanking every one of you.

Glad to hear you are back home and yep things like this feel worse than getting a wisdom tooth at least that is on the inside. LOL
But at least you can have something to eat and all went well that is the main thing.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and take a good rest when needed.
Andre
Resting is the main thing right now. I like to keep busy so I'm doing a bit, resting a bit. Another week and I'll be back to normal.
Bux
I'm glad that everything went successfully well despite of a few minor bruises. I hope you feel better, Bux.

Sounds like the good old days. We've had a few of those between us.
Just taking it a little slower. One eye is puffy and won't synchronise with the other when I'm reading, so I have to keep stopping. Soon be right.
Be good old mate, be careful.

That's the trouble Jeff. I'm used to big forkfuls of food and that hurts.
I have to learn to eat like a dainty lady for a few days.
I'll get there, you know that, and thanks for the kind thoughts.

The soup was great. A fair damsel offered to cook it but she doesn't know my kitchen, so after frying the onions and boiling the carrots she was stuck. I had to finish the job, not easy when I can't see out of one eye.
Very tasty though - Kansas Carrot soup.
I need to lie down now.

I think the tablets are working now. I can almost see out of two eyes now.
She made a portion for Saturday too. I'll share it if you want some.
Swap it for some snow.
Hi Lisa, I had to have some bits removed from my face. I went in for day surgery and came out with 15 stitches in my beautiful face (my opinion).
Back home now and recovering well. I won't be down for long.
Thanks and take care.

Sounds like a good day for soup and rest. Great you are up and raring to go. Maybe you could do more planning today so that you keep motivation up but allow healing to take place. In any case, Positive Healing Vibes your way,. M
Great, thanks Mollie.
If you know me, you will know that I can't even spell rst, ret, rtt, never mind do it.
Thanks for the thoughts. Yes, plenty of carrots for carrot soup. Freezer stocked up with pasta dishes to re-heat.
Ciao

Good morning Bux,
I'm glad the procedure has been carried out, Bux, and that you can now move forward. I just replied to a comment on your other blog post, which I'm sure you will see.
Take one day at a time; I'm sure that as each day goes by, you will feel improved. And remember that very soon you will be able to try a beer and steak! It's good to have things to look forward to!
Take care and have a great day.
Roy
That's the plan Roy. Wait until I can really enjoy a beer and steak.
Meanwhile, its pasta and mince and similar.
Another week and it will all be a memory.
Bux
That's great, Bux!
Yes! It's amazing how quickly time goes by; you will quickly be back to normal, I sincerely hope!
