Hey Mollies,
Once you've paid for a domain (it's much like a driver's license - due yearly or it expires and non-refundable) it stays in your name until the year is up.
If you checked to have your domain renew automatically, you'll want to uncheck that option so that once the year is up, that domain name will go up for sale.
In the meantime, you may as well use a redirect from the old site to the one site you moved the content to.
If you purchased the domain name registration through Wealthy Affiliate, then SIteSupport should be able to assist you by adding a redirect from the old site to the new one.
Once they tell you it has been completed, be sure to test to see that the old site redirects properly.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks for the information; yes, I plan to keep the domain, as it will need to continue pointing to that information now on my new site. i will contact support. thanks for input, M

a lot of times it is a virtual file....

Kyle has mentioned a few times that you can disregard the site health notices you see in your WP dashboard. Most of the time, if you have any actual issues that need addressing, you’d see them.
I did not initially think it was an issue, but now it seems to be interfering with my efforts to get AdSense to work correctly under Google Site Kit.
Hey Mollie,
SiteSupport is correct, you do need to reach out to your theme developer. Simply search the internet for your WordPress theme...
EXAMPLE SEARCH:
WordPress theme [name of your theme goes here]
And once you find the WordPress page that introduces viewers to the theme, click on the Support link and put in a ticket.
If you are not yet a WordPress member, you will need to sign up in order to put in a ticket.
The fastest way to resolve theme and/or plugin issues is to reach out to the developers with such issues.
Hope you find this helpful.

I think I have resolved this; it seemed to be a plugin stuck in maintenance mode.
Okay, and thanks for the update :)
