I want to share a short segment of a training video from Wealthy Affiliate. I know how to copy the link listed as the share. When I paste this link into my information, and som

Thanks everyone for input I just wanted to ensure that if I shared link outside of WA that was not violating any policy. From what I got from input the link will show some iof video then person must sign up for free account to see rest. Thanks m

That's not possible, Mollie.

However, for a YouTube video, you can select the starting point.

Frank 🎸

You can share the link for a video anywhere, with your affiliate ID included, but it will bring visitors to a page with the video and in order to watch it they have to join for free.

Oh great so just to be sure I am understanding correctly if I share the video and someone outside WA watched it they would have to sign up for free account to see it correct ?

Hi Mollie,
They are able to see the first 60 seconds of the video and are prompted to sign up.

Give it a test, but that is what I tried, and it shows that in the image. But, it's the entire video, not part of it.

Thanks for jumping in, Jay!

I don't think we can... As they are copyrighted to WA.

We cannot edit what is not ours. They cannot be saved or downloaded, never mind edited.

Why not try to do your content? Then you get to choose what to include.
Abie

I thought we could share the video, as it has a share button. I do not want to alter it; I just want to advertise wealthy affiliates. So, the share button at the top is only for sharing within the wealthy affiliate community?

I meant to say I only wanted to share a brief portion of it. Thanks so much for your input. m

i want to use one of the WA banners on my site, but it calls for a size of 2048 x 1152 pixels and 6 MB or less. The Wealthy Affiliate Banner size is 468 pixels wide and 60 pixe

Thanks. Everyone for response I took advise and hopefully can use much smaller one ! Just have to figure out how ! Will keep you posted ! Positive Vibes

There's really no need for your banner to be so large. I'd size it down considerably.

You can head to Canva and design something corresponding to your niche website. And it doesn't take long... Then you can hyperlink to any resource within WA :) With your unique affiliate link

You could change the HTML sizes; however, the banner may go out of focus. You can try it, no harm done.

Abie

Yes, I'm currently working with CAVA, but you're right. No matter which way I try, it continually goes out of focus. I tried changing the ratio on my computer, but it would not let me. It's almost like it is fixed. thanks, I will keep at it. mt

Hey Mollie,

We have a number of different banners on our banner page in all different sizes.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/banners

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

That may be true, there are many banners, Carson, but most of are less that 700px.

This is the only banner that is wide enough:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/banners/show/wa_learn_to_make_728x90.jpg

However, this will not work as a hero banner.

Rudy

thank you

Yes, I looked at them, but the one that was what I needed it to say is only 468 pixels wide and 60 pixels, but I will improvise somehow. m

You're welcome!

Where did you want to use such a large image? That seems like overkill...

Rudy

It did to me as well it was on Google

I'm not clear on what you mean...not enough context....grin

I have audio interviews that I need to be able to automatically transcribe into a text document. Has anyone used any particular AI that does this? I went to chat with GPT, and

Hey there Mollie,

There are a few audio to text programs you can use.

One is, Flixier: https://flixier.com/pricing. THis is the pricing page to show you the value they offer for free!

Another is SpeechNotes: https://speechnotes.co/transcribe/

Price is - One cent (a penny) per minute, a rate you can't get anywhere else.

Instructions on how to use the audio to text feature with M Word: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/transcribe-your-recordings-7fc2efec-245e-45f0-b053-2a97531ecf57

F0R FREE- here: https://converter.app/audio-to-text/
If your audio is an audio file (mp3), you can upload the file and convert to text.

Any one of these will work, select the one that works bets for you.

When something is of value, we are willing to pay for it. If you find that one of these tools works for you, I recommend that you consider a paid membership as an investment.

Good luck!

Rudy

Thank you so much for all the information, these seem to be some great audio alternatives. I plan to check them out first thing tomorrow! I will keep you posted on how it turns out. Thanks m

Great! Looking forward to see what you do.

Rudy

Hi Mollie
restream.io provides a free online transcription service, seemingly without restrictions although the free transcription is only downloadable as a .txt file so you would then need to lay it out the way you want.
;-)

Hey, thank you so much; I will check this out. I have been searching for the best solution for the last hour.i will certainly take a look at this , M

If you have the audio file on your PC, you can play it through speakers and try Google Docs > Tools > Voice Typing...

You may need to edit the transcription afterward for accuracy.

Abie

Thanks, I will look at this; I have never really dealt with this type of format. I need to be able to do this quickly due to the volume of cases I am working on. Thanks so much for this. I will undoubtedly try this afternoon to see how it works. M

I plan to look at all three of the suggestions offered here and will update you all later about what seems to work best.

mollie
I use Otter, the paid version, and you certainly couldn't just use the transcript off the bat without checking it. However there is a free version

I briefly opened their website but have not had a chance to view their information. I think I will have to go with a paid version, but I didn't want to spend funds until I figured out which one to use. Thanks for the input. I will check them out. M

Hi Mollie,

This may be more of a 'life hack' and I haven't done this myself.. but

Try converting the audio to a video file, and then uploading it to YouTube?
It should then create an automated transcription.

Regards,
Jay

P.S. @BrendaMZ may have a solution also.

This certainly sounds like a quick option; however, my concern would be the confidentiality issue, as these are private client interviews. This sounds like a great option, but I need a quick solution. Thanks so much. I will research this, but I must be conscientious to keep the information confidential. M

The videos can be unlisted or private whereas nobody will see them except you.

Once you have the transcription, you can remove the videos.

Oh, ok, that is great. I will certainly check this out. Can I upload audio, as this would not be video, just an audio file? thanks, M
