Great tip Dale, but as we grow without this habit, is there a quick way that we can roll back to see which posts we unintentionally orphaned?
Hi Don,
You can check for orphaned posts by going through your posts that you have already created to see if you have created any text links in your previous posts linking to other posts on your website.

Thanks, Brian
With 115 posts and counting, I was interested in a more automated way to find my sweet orphans.
I have recently past my first year here, so the process of refreshing posts has begun.
I will look as I update them.

Hi Don,
You may not even have any orphaned posts or pages but now that you have a lot more experience, you will find mistakes in your previous posts that you didn't notice before.
Maybe do one post a day...

Brian
I use a 3rd party tool named Screaming Frog; it's fantastic for anything crawl-related, but it is a paid tool. Yoast SEO plugin also has an orphaned content finder.
