I Thought You Were Joking. How Appropriate.
Huh.
I received my 1-year badge today, which I thought must be an April Fool's joke. As I recall, I joined somewhere mid-month, so I was surprised to receive it already. So this means that every year, my anniversary will be falling on April Fool's...
On one hand, I'm not sure that I like that, but as I think about it a bit, that is quite appropriate. Why? Because I joined WA in April, but made very little real effort until sometime at the end of October. So in effect, my "real" start date is in October.
When I think back on that, I'm rather annoyed with myself. As I consider what I have accomplished since October, I then realise that I could have been twice as far along right now. I've been here one year, but wasted half of it. What a fool.
That's why today makes the perfect anniversary: it'll be a constant reminder not to waste time.

I don't know... I feel kind of foolish about the wasted time.
Still, it was a learning experience and I can use it for motivation, so it wasn't a total loss.
I official 'joined' in May, 2016 but I did not get 'started' until late August, early Sept, so I have to say I wasted a lot of time, as well.
Congratulations...a year is a year. If we know the path is right, perseverance is part of the journey. I'm going to put more effort into my first 6 months. Thanks. Debbie
Thanks.
Yeah, for sure, don't wait to move ahead in the lessons. There is never a better time than now.

This is a perfect Anniversary, it means that you will be ready for whatever sort of April Fool's posts I have slated for the year!
Absolutely!
As an aside, I wonder sometimes how you determine which posts to respond to. I mean, I can hardly conceive of how many posts, PMs, questions, etc you must see each day. The fact that you saw and responded to this is pretty mind-blowing...
Unless, of course, you're ready to reveal that cloning technology niche you've been working on. ;)
