I have been here for 6 weeks. I have created a website to promote wealthy affiliate, I have published 36 articles with 1000-1500 words each while focusing on great keywords. o

You are trying to do it like following a formula - that works to a point, but that's not everything. Your readers can tell from your content that you've never had a successful affiliate site, which makes them wary to take your recommendations.

Consider starting a niche site from scratch now, and work until it's a successful affiliate site. Use your own recommendations from your WA blog to make this happen. The process will give you wonderful insights into the actual way that affiliate marketing works. Then when you re-read your articles in your current WA site, you'll have a whole new perspective and may find that you want to adjust some of the content to reflect your new knowledge.

Sounds like you have made a lot of progress in 6 weeks, congratulations!

While there are other ways of generating traffic (social media for example), even with perfect SEO tricks, most sites aren't going to rank super high on google in such a short period of time. Google likes sites that have proven themselves over a period of time, so it might just be a bit of a waiting game. Keep on doing what you're doing.

To get more traffic in the meantime, I recommend looking into Pinterest. It's a great way to get traffic as a new site because there are all sorts of tips and tricks to get your articles circulating, whereas with google you can control your implementation of SEO, but ultimately you need to wait for them to rank you.

Also, definitely don't delete your site! It takes time. There is no quick way to get a basically brand new site ranking number one on google over night.

Keep following the training if you have not yet finished it. If you have, look at some of Jay's webinars that are of interest to keep you moving forward. You can even skim through the training again to make sure you didn't miss anything or move too quickly over something.

Thank you very much. i have been posting my articles to pinterest also. do you know how i can use pinterest correctly to get traffic

There are many tutorials out there for helping grow your Pinterest presence. It does require some strategy, and unfortunately, pinning an article to your board one time and moving on isn't near enough. To get the most out of pinterest, you either have to basically be on Pinterest all day long (which isn't realistic), or invest some time and possibly money into a scheduling service. Best practices seem to indicate posting 25-30 times a day (mostly your own content, but also some of other people's) is best. Tailwind is the most common scheduler, but it is kind of pricey. Most people find it worth it, though. There are other scheduling softwares out there, too, but I've not personally used any others so I don't have one to recommend.

You will want to start by creating many boards and making sure your boards contain keywords. Pinterest has it's own form of SEO that isn't too difficult and just involves typing your keyword into it's search bar and seeing what suggestions it gives you. You can google it to learn more.

Start here, it will get you going in the right direction:

if you are gaining traffic then that is good.
just be patient - i know it is difficult and this is something very few of us have nowadays, but you will have ot learn to wait.
keep on marketing your articles, but don't spam them - create more.
if it is in the make money online then little mama and jerry huang said you will need in the order of 200 articles, so...
it is at the two to three month point that you will start to gain traction and your articles will rise through the ranks, so another 6 weeks or so.
keep on going, this is the point where you will hit the wall and think that it is not worth it, but stick in there.
good luck
phil

thanks for your advice. am geting less traffic 2-10 and some times zero

just keep going - keep creating useful content and it will improve - i thought of giving up with one of my sites, but now it is 100-150 people a day - very little maintenance at the moment, so..
about 100 articles on there, so keep on creating.

Sounds like you are doing all the right stuff. It takes time. Sometimes a long time. Keep writing, studying and learning. There is no magic bullet. However, I am sure you remember when you thought riding a bike or driving a car was so impossible. This will come.

the majority of people here at wealthy affiliate give up just before they achieve success. Don't let that person be you!

Have a look at the profiles of these two guys. Have a look at their articles and have a look at their pieces of training.they both give super easy and coherent advice. My second piece of advice would be to have a look who has been to Vegas and have a look at their profiles.

Grace, or little Mama has a Facebook group which may help you. I don't have the link but perhaps if you PM her you can find out or possibly someone will put a link below.

Finally continue with your writing and articles. Go over your keyword research tutorials and make sure you're using the right keywords. You should be able to rank with some of your keywords.

i know how to insert images into posts and pages . but when i insert images and publish, then the images become fades and they are not clear. can any one tell me how to insert

Yes, as others have said, it's all about the size of the images.

I always download images as the largest size available and then use Office picture manager to resize them to 640 px wide.

This always seems to work well. See https://agingslowdown.com for examples.

Make sure that the images you add are the same size or slightly bigger than they will be displayed. When you enlarge an image it becomes pixelated and blurry.

Hey Cleanius,

If you are referring to your Featured Images in posts and pages, the size I find works best is 600 px X 315 px.

Many times my height has gone beyond the 315 px but as long as I keep my featured images at 600 px my social media accounts seem pleased enough.

Having said all that... you need to consider what your theme requires. In checking your profile, you have not shared your website's URL in your "Follow Me on" section so I couldn't offer your exact instructions.

What you could do is Google search "[theme name here] theme featured image size" (without the quotation marks, of course) and you should be able to find your theme's suggested image size to use.

Hope you find this helpful.

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

Am in uganda and i have tried to open amazon affiliate program but i have failed at identity varification. can someone help me on this as i dont have usa phone number

First make sure your site it set up and up to date before you apply for the Amazon Affiliate account.

But if your site is set up and already generating traffic and you need an amazon account, i would suggest you download an app called "Telos" you can find it on Play Store.

I had similar issue with verifying my account, what that app actually does is help you create an international number you can use to verify your amazon account after which you can no longer use it anymore.

Just an option though you may want to check it out.
