Social Message Optimizer-Handy Little FREE Tool!
I haven't been a big fan of the Social Media platforms in the past but I am warming up to it. I'm told it is necessary if I want to make better progress with my website goals. I do see the value in it. Given that, I have been perusing around the net reading up on how to make the best of social media. There have also been some very helpful posts I have read here on the subject.
I received an email yesterday with what appears to be a handy little tool for optimizing your social media messages. I did play around with it a bit and found it to be really useful. It's also FREE!
I typed in a test message and went through the score results which weren't too bad on the first try, then I followed the recommendations down the line and made changes according to the recommendations. My score increased each time. It was really helpful to me in seeing little things I could do to make the message much better and therefore more effective.
If you are not aware of it already, you may find it handy and helpful as well.
Check it out: https://coschedule.com/social-...
Let me know what you think or if there are other better tools for this I would be interested in knowing.

Thanks Cindy, will give it a try. I do use Social Media, especially g+ and Facebook. They provide me with most of my visitors.
Your Welcome Harvey, I hope you find it useful and check out Paul's recommendation also on the Headline Optimizer.
Hello and I use coschedule the headline tool for my headlines and this is another tool they have launched and very nice too see and easy to use - I am really not quite sure what to do with it though as I never really send messages!

Ah, Yes Paul, they do have a headline tool. Thanks for mentioning that, not sure how I missed that one! I guess what caught me was the "Create social messages that CONVERT" line. The Headline Optimizer is very important for sure. Should be added. Thank you!

It is an interesting tool but it's only free for 14 days. I think it would be much better if it were to optimize your msgs for you. I tried a msg that maxed out all platforms which with 140 for Twitter, then when it came to optimizing it, I could not get out of the Better "ranking" and that was a 15-minute battle.
Coming from a Social Media Management background I can say all their advice for post times and lengths were bang on....for 2014, I know this because that's when I did my schooling and I learned the exact same results. The Wednesday posts still stand as the best day for most major platforms but their times have all changed.
Whether it wasn't as thorough due to being a free trial, the paid version most likely would be all up to date.
It is a great concept they have here but for what they offer for the $40/month, I feel 1-2 hours of research and you can learn everything this provides and some and I could better use the $500 for better resources, just my opinion.
Anyone interested in learning social media platforms targeting stats like age groups, gender usage, best post times and dates, most of this can be discovered from the following sites;
Blue Corona - Dates & times are near bottom of the first page
WordStream - Lots of great stuff here. DYK pizza is the most used food on Instagram?
SprouySocial - Tweets with images are 150% more likely to get a retweet.
Lastly, Hootsuites blog is an indispensable resource for exactly these type of stats. Most of these sites though, the info is listed in a point form so you have to read through it to find what you are looking for but that being said, I have found other info and facts that I use still to this very day so there is a upside to this for learning from this style of format. Hope this helps everyone. The tool listed here by Cindy is a good tool but outside the free trial, if you don't want to spend $40/month, this would be your best option to learn what this tool provides. One last thing I will let you in on, although using a "#" will earn you more engagement, posts with more than 3 hashtags, will see a huge decline in views or engagements and I have not found any solid data regarding emojis. The only reputable data I found was a case study done by CNN of all places, that stated using emojis in any business or work related posts, emails or messages, the reader was 82% likely to think you were incompetent. This would not be good for niches trying to build trust with future readers, followers or customers. So using the emoji is your call.
If you have any other questions about social media, please feel free to send me a PM anytime. Happy Affiliating!
PS I also agree with Big Mike (MKearns) they ask A LOT of you for information on you and your business to sign up for the free trial.
Thank you for making all those points. Very good added information you gave. I think I now need to do a follow-up post as to why it has turned out not so good. I doubt many here can afford an additional $40 per month. I think I am getting sucked into shiny object syndrome!
I guarantee you I am the poorest here in the WA so sifting through free stuff has become my specialty. If you do an honest review for them you can get a 50% discount and if you can get 5 referrals that go the paid route you can get it for a year free, here's the down-low on that;

Back in 2015 CoSchedule was only $10 a month and their function and options were pretty much the same so why the 300% increase? Hootsuite has a service that used to be free, I haven't checked in a while but it did everything I saw CoSchedule did. The service is called Buffer and if HootSuite uses it,, you know it has to be good. Hope this helps you out more.
