Social Media Following
I notice when people are following the training here at Wealthy Affiliate, when they get to the part for setting up their accounts on social media like Facebook, twitter etc and sharing their links that they are asking people to provide their links so they can follow them back.
I really only want to draw people's attention to the fact that if someone follows you on any of the social media platforms, you are then able to just go and follow them back without having the need to ask for anyone's links.
You only need to go to where you are followed from and you are able to then go to the person's profile for that platform and return the follow. All rather easy and quicker than requesting someone's links.
Here we are at the start of another week so

Nice post, Cheryl. I think it's good for the newbies to know the rules about where to post their website and contact info within WA.
You still snowed in? We're supposed to get some Tues. They say less than 1 inch, but that's the valley's forecast. I'm likely to get a couple inches or more.
Hi Carol, thank you and I agree with you there but I just think that this is a quicker and easier way to follow someone who has said they have followed you rather than them having supply their URL as well.
Well, it turned to rain yesterday and everyone thought they were getting rid of the snow then when I opened the blind this morning, guess what - see below!!!
Gorgeous pic, Cheryl. I don't know if we'll have that much...they're saying 1-2 inches, but we'll see. I parked at the bottom of the mountain and walked home so I won't be snowed in tomorrow. Have to go to town and pick my dog up from the boarder in the morning, and can't be snowed in then! Have a great weekend, Cheryl. Carol
Thanks Carol, that is our front garden. You can see the tops of our pots again there, they were totally covered. Our poor wee cricket gnome is buried under the snow somewhere lol. I Hope you got your dog ok and managed to get back in. xxx
Thanks, Cheryl. Is your poor cricket gnome still buried? When I got up yesterday morning, the snow was all gone, so I was able to pick Leia up and get back home with no problems. They're predicting possibly 3 inches tonight into tomorrow, but it's too warm (42 degrees) right now. Hopefully they're wrong. Do you have "daylight savings time" over there? We set our clocks ahead one hour tonight, and it will stay ahead of the sun for 6 months, then we set them back again. Silly, isn't it?
Hi Carol, my wee cricket gnome is fine and can be seen again thank you. Glad you were able to pick Leia up in the morning without any problem. Hope you never did get the snow that they had predicted. We've had a great day today, it's been nice and sunny and a bit warmer for a change.
Yes we do but our clocks don't go forward until the last Saturday in March. I love when they go back and you get the extra hour in bed but losing that hours sleep is a nightmare. I do however like the long lighter nights. xxxx
I think we used to spring forward at the end of June and fall back at the end of October. Don't know why it's so strange now. Think it might have to do with the meteorological calendar our weatherman talks about. I was surprised to see that it was still dark at 7:30, but guess I shouldn't have been, since by the sun it was only 6:30! It will be nice having light later in the evening instead of getting dark before supper time! I agree....that lost hour of sleep is for the birds, but the extra one in the spring is great!
Working on painting my kitchen as I have the energy to do it, but want to start researching keywords for a new post. I had a question on my website, and that gave me an idea for a new post. I'm in the process of doing a series of posts on different brands of ballroom dancing shoes, but will interrupt that to respond to my reader's question in a post that other readers might be interested in as well.
Take care, and have a great week!
Carol
You as well Carol, we have always been spring forward in March and fall back in October.
So looking forward to the lighter nights. xxxx
I don't know why, but I really goofed. We have never sprung forward in June! Don't know where that came from. It used to be the End of MARCH and end of October.
I never know when the fibro fog will hit, but I don't think I'm in one now. Hope not, anyway!
You're very welcome, I just think it saves time to follow the person back that follows you. xxxx
Cold and white Harvey lol.
It has now turned to rain so it is now getting rather slushy which is worse, as long as it doesn't freeze though or it will be dangerous. xxxx
Yea we had freezing rain two weeks past. The roads were okay, but laneways and parking were treacherous.
I can imagine it would be a nightmare Harvey. It can be quite scary as you never know where there is going to be black ice. xxxx
At times one simply has to ask for a follow back after following someone....due to the fact that that person may not use the initiative of returning the favor :)

Will try to have fun. Thanks for the post Cheryl
I am pleased to hear that and I hope you do manage.
You are very welcome, thanks. xxxx
