Time Has Flown By
My, oh my!
I remember when I joined Wealthy Affiliate, (WA), like it was yesterday.
Looking for coffee turned into a soon-to-be 4-year-long, unforgettable journey that has transformed me, my life and my lifestyle.
Today, I am so far removed from who I was back then that it feels like an out-of-body experience.

My College (WA University) Approach
As soon as I realised the power and potential of our WA Community and everything that I was learning, I changed my approach.
Ours is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme or a system that gives you overnight success.
You have to invest time, energy, and effort just as you have to do in school or any higher learning institution.
So, what did I do?
I checked myself into College, WA University, and buckled down for the 4-year journey. That helped me to have the mindset that I needed to squeeze everything out of this.
And squeeze, I did.
When life gives you lemons, what do you do?
That's right!
- You make all the lemon juice you can.
- You save the seeds to germinate and grow more lemon plants.
- You dry the rind to make lemon oil and tea.

Hello Cassi, I am very happy to have been on this journey with you. You have shown the way, for many of us who were coasting along you have been a beacon.
You knew what to do with the lemons; many who have been given lemons simply passed the Tequila, enjoyed a good drink, and moved on. You buckled down and drove through to the finish.
This is your graduation, you have sweated for it and earned it. I would say casual and relaxed - definitely not formal. Wear something that you always thought you wanted to wear, but never did. After all, WA taught all of us that we are not who we thought we were.
Whatever the journey at WA is; it is not formal, it is more relaxed and edgy, but mostly what we want it to be. (Thinking about you here, Jeff).
WA allows us to take our lives and reinvent ourselves into whatever we want to be. It is not a formal occasion, but it is a cause to celebrate.

Yes, I think the majority of people join the platform with high hopes! However, sadly many people forget that they have to invest time which then ends in disappointment.
I think probably, but it's only my assessment that your second point is the main point that people fail, Cassi.

And now I am back home in the UK! However, it was a nice short break! The temperatures were probably slightly above average for the time of year, around 30° C. I must admit it was very pleasant indeed!
It never fails to amaze me how within under three hours, I can be somewhere considerably warmer!
