Change Happens At The Congruent Point (Why Preparation Is Critical!)
A Bumper 2023!
What a fast-paced year 2023 has been.
It is almost over, and, with only 44 days left, the 2024 engines have already started to turn.
A quick recap of my big-ticket achievements for the year, (so far), reminds me of the importance of preparation.
✅ 4-Year Wealthy Affiliate (WA) Graduand. No official degree or diploma but if I were to put a figure to everything I have learned in the past year, it would be well over USD 250,000.
✅ Consistent 5-figure earnings over the past 2 years from the revenue streams created from what I have learned.
✅ 6-figure earnings achieved from applying the online and Social Media (SM) marketing training to my boutique consulting firm. (There is even greater news on this front but I will save that for another post.)
✅ A few recognition awards, like the one below, were bagged this year. These will come in handy for my next phase of growth.
✅ Onboarded 32 new Coaching Clients (all Executives who are building a structure on which to pivot and exit gracefully from corporate brick-and-mortar.)
✅ Joined the Board of Directors of one of our country's leading and most successful Energy, Oil & Gas companies.
✅ Joined the Board of Directors of my daughter's school to support their fundraising initiatives and contribute to directing the future of education for Young Women in our country. (This is how I give back. I love working with young people!)
✅ Enjoyed the fruits of time and effort invested with over two (2) months, (so far), of fun and family time spent away or travelling with loved ones. This is what has been most meaningful for me. Having the freedom to afford and enjoy a lifestyle that I design for myself.
All Prepped For 2024!
I have completed all my planning for 2024 and beyond and the foundation stones have been laid.
It is now time to buckle down and get myself to Las Vegas, courtesy of Kyle and Carson. 💃 There is no better time to begin this journey.
I have invested a lot in trying, failing, learning, starting over, discussing, asking, trying, failing, gaining clarity, researching, succeeding.
It is time.
I KNOW what is required.
I have the skills.
I have a network of support.
I have the tools.
I have the resources.
I have all the training I need.
It is time.
✅ Website indexed.
✅ Coach, Mentor and Partner on board.
✅ 12 months to implement all that I have learned.
✅ AI tools to support my efforts.
✅ Content bank created and being filled.
✅ Some spiffy WA platform upgrades rolling out over the next few weeks.
✅ WA Premium Plus annual membership paid.
✅ Client Avatar created and staring me in the face as I write.
What Are Your Plans For The Next Year?
So, here we go!
I am starting from zero, again, and will be working my way up those stairs. No letting up.
This year, I am sending out HUGE hugs and thanks to our Empress, Catherine (@TheCatherine) for all of her support, guidance and no-fluff (sorry Diane) discussions.
Sometimes, there is nothing like straight talk and a kick in the butt to get you to your Congruent Point. 😂

You really do have some impressive bullet points there, Cassi and it looks like you are going onto the next stage, well done. The fact is that now you have all these things behind you, it's like a massive advertising board, if that makes sense. You have the living proof of what you have achieved. I believe that this could be a huge selling and promoting point encouraging others to join the Wealthy Affiliate platform.

This resonates for me, Roy and makes a lot of sense.
When I joined WA, I was conflicted with all the different stories about whether you could succeed and how long it would take.
There were a few times when I did think seriously about exiting but I listened to my instinct.
I have not slayed the Affiliate Marketing beast yet but that is my mission in 2024.
The goal post kept moving too much and too fast.
Now, with all the upgrades on the WA platform and the advancement of AI technology, I believe that any success you put your mind to IS possible.

I'm glad that my phrase resonated with you! I really do feel that what you have achieved is amazing, Cassi, and if people knew your story, they would be impressed! In other words, a good selling point for promoting Wealthy Affiliate or any other similar type of product!
I understand, Cassi; there are so many scam products and basically lies out there regarding what certain products can do!
If I see a bad review about Wealthy Affiliate and I know who wrote the review. I generally find that someone who hasn't actually made any effort whatsoever. When I say no effort whatsoever, I mean they have even filled that profile page in and yet they are knocking the platform.
I also believe that there are people who give up too soon, it takes time to build an online business! I'm glad that you kept going, Cassi, it would be very disappointing to give up something so good. It's good to look at people like, Roope. If you look at where he started from and where he is now, it's amazing! The fact is that he just took solid action, like many others here!
I wish you well with your affiliate marketing, I'm sure it will work for you, one step at a time!

Roope, Prince Partha, Empress Catherine, Queen Diane and Nathaniell are true Role Models for us in the Content and Affiliate Marketing arena.
I am using them as my horizon and working steadily.
It will happen.
What I thank God for every day is that I was able to slip into some revenue streams outside of Affiliate Marketing.
Those successes helped me to gain confidence which I can now piggyback on.

I couldn't agree more with you, Cassi; it's worth listening to the members that you mentioned. There are also some people on this platform that are almost hidden and who have been very successful.
I have seen pictures of people from the Las Vegas trip on blog posts who I didn't know. Only to find that they had kept very quiet, but obviously working very hard in the background!
It's definitely worth listening to people who are successful and who have been there and done that, Cassi.
When I look at people like Roope and more, it does two things for me: it encourages me to keep moving forward, and I'm thankful that they have made their lives good at a very young age! Although I have been self-employed virtually all my working life, I've had some quite hard physical and not very pleasant jobs at times. These younger members will not have to do that type of work, I hope!
I have heard Tony Hamilton say how thankful he is that he started an online business, that I think he had carried out some fairly tough jobs in the past!
I'm with you big time, Cassi, successful people can help us gain confidence! I think it's great that you have other revenue streams outside affiliate marketing, that has to be good.

That's a very good way of putting it, Cassi!
I think we can earn huge amounts from people who are doing life in the right way. We don't want to necessarily copy them, but basing something on good principles has to be good!
Even if we have taken a step in the right direction, it's never too late to change our script! 😊Which in turn can move us towards the congruent point!😊

Roy, congruence is a mathematical term meaning equality or alignment.
For example, a congruent triangle has equal sides.
The term was introduced into psychology by Carl Rogers who determined that a person could only achieve self-actualisation if they were in a state of congruence.
That means that their inner self and outward behaviours must be in agreement or harmony.
You cannot say you want peace and prepare for war.
That is conflict.

For example, I believe that there are lots of people who want to be successful on Wealthy Affiliate, but the truth is they don't really want to work. So they are not in agreement with their inner self! They don't even want to think about changing their script!

Wow! Awesome achievements Cassi and congrats on the nomination. An inspirational read! :)
My plans are to continue to steadily post content at least three times a week and be able to replace my relatively low income by the end of the year. I’m currently six weeks in to my WA journey and after a slight stumble with self belief last week, am back on the case!

Self-belief is real and it is important to acknowledge it.
Once you do, you can take some time to explore the roots of it.
Use the Root Cause Analysis technique which is simple.
Ask "Why?" until you have exhausted all the reasons.
For example, I will use being late all the time.
1. Why were you late this morning?
Because I got up late.
2. Why did you get up late?
Because I stayed up working last night.
3. Why did you stay up late working last night?
Because I went to dinner with friends and allowed the time to ease by.
4. Why did you go to dinner with friends and allow the time to ease by?
Because they invited me and I could not tell them "no".
Bingo!
Priorities, learning to say "no" and managing your time when you have important things to accomplish.
Do some exploration on your self-belief and see where that takes you.
