How Do I Repay You?

There is a saying that I love:

"When the student is ready, the teacher appears."

My Freshman Year at Wealthy Affiliate (WA) has been nothing short of life-changing. I am at a place now where I do not want to envisage my life without WA. If anyone had told me there was a community like this on the internet, I would not have believed them.

WA is an experience. That makes it difficult to describe to people sometimes and I often just say: "You have to participate to know what I am talking about."

For me to describe my 1st year as successful, is an understatement. I have exceeded every goal and expectation that I have set for myself. The most impactful thing has been, by far, the learning.

None of this however, could have happened without our WA Community. This morning I awoke thinking about how I can repay each of you for all you support and assistance.

It is priceless and I will forever be deeply, deeply grateful. 🤗

3 Important Lessons

The lessons I am moving on with have changed my life. I am proud to share that I am not the same person I was when I entered these WA doors in October 2019.

Kyle, Carson, Jay, Nathaniell and the technical team do a great job with our platform and the infrastructure. But for me, the most profound and impactful lessons have emerged from the culture, sharing and caring that are a way of life for us (and boy does it feel really good to say "us").

Here are 3 of my most important takeaways:

1. Diversity Thrives

I am a mixed-race, Caribbean-born woman who has travelled the globe. Whilst I do know that discrimination exists and I may have experienced the subtleties of it from time to time, I know from the experience of others what exclusion can do to a person.

When I first joined WA, I was apprehensive, wondering if I would be accepted and how I would be viewed. Well, those were wasted thoughts!

There has NEVER been a moment at WA when I did not FEEL and EXPERIENCE inclusion and acceptance. Everyone is warm, embracing and open to difference - ideas, culture, feelings, lifestyles, . . .

We are an exceptionally diverse community and we thrive because of it, not in spite of it.

2. There Is Always Time To Lend A Hand

I was a novice and an ignorant one too. I thought I knew a little but, as I look back now, I realise I did not know anything about how all this online stuff really worked.

Having listened to so much out there, I formed many wrong opinions and those opinions held me back and kept me away from truly learning how to learn, earn and build successfully.

There has never been a time when I have reached out for help or support within our WA Community and not received it. Even as I write this blog post, that never ceases to amaze me.

We all give so much of ourselves, knowledge, support and time freely to each other with the goal of helping each other succeed. We are those geese in formation who are hell-bent on ensuring that we all get where we are going together.

3. Follow The Script And You Will Succeed

Perhaps because I recognised how little I knew, I followed the script laid down by Kyle and Carson, to a T!

I did not deviate.

The Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) course is my bible and although I have been through it a few times already, I still go back and do a lesson or 2, while relaxing. I learn something new each time.

To supplement that, I read blog posts religiously, participate in Jay's trainings every Friday night and go into our training library to devour a topic before I implement my ideas and plans.

Once you orient yourself carefully and thoroughly AND commit to working on you business EVERY DAY, you WILL succeed.

Keep going, even when you may feel as though things are not happening when and how you want them to, keep going. Follow the script and you will achieve.

There is no place like WA. I say that proudly and unapologetically.

Here, I have built a very solid foundation for my digital businesses and now I have started to grow the walls.

It is an exciting time.

I have another 2 years to go before I start to paint, decorate and move in the furniture. I cannot wait to get there.

Please, take you time and develop a strong foundation and infrastructure. Your WA legacy may be the best gift that you may ever give yourself and you loved ones.

Have a terrific month!

Thanks for the encouragement, Cassi! I, too, have found the Community to be very helpful in just the short time I've been with WA.

I like, "Please take your time and develop a strong foundation and infrastructure." Also "Follow the script and you will succeed"

I look forward to the day when I can lend a hand to others who are new and asking questions.

I didn't even think about how diverse WA would be when I first joined, but it is diverse in culture and thought, which is a huge plus in my opinion.

You are very welcome, Lynn and it is our pleasure to have you with us.

Our community is priceless!

I learn so much here and have made many good friends, all over the world.
Feel free to reach out and dive in as soon as you are ready.

Wishing you much, much success.

Let me quote Cassi, because this really stuck out for me, to go back and learn a little more from a re-visit, and your brain understanding with increase with neoplasticity, like:
"The Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) course is my bible and although I have been through it a few times already, I still go back and do a lesson or 2, while relaxing. I learn something new each time."
I just adore you Cassi, you speak to my heart of hearts on don't overload,
don't take on to much side stuff,
stick to the training.
Suzay

You've got this, Suzay!!
That IS the way to go.

It's a cool Sunday and I am relaxing while re-visiting some training from the OEC.
It feels like I am doing it for the 1st time and learning so many new things along the way.

Thank you for your continued support.

Love this, thanks for sharing. I am going slow since I have another job to pay attention to. I know this will replace the job. I feel sometimes I'm going too slow, but this post helps me realise I need to just keep learning and going through the script played out for us.

You are very welcome, Pamela.
Keep building a solid foundation and learning.

Thank you for sharing.

Such a joyous post Cassi, you have much to be excited about and I would agree wholeheartedly that this community is like no other.
I feel very lucky to have been accepted into the ranks and look forward to each day like I would if I were in my dream job (Sssh, I think I already am😉.)

I do agree with you, it does feel like my dream job, Twack.
Our futures are very bright. 😊

Thank you.
Cassi

This bright😎

Oh yes!

😁

I particularly like your comment on "geese flying in formation" - one supporting the other to ensure we all get successfully where we need to go. It is definitely one of the best analogies I have heard for the WA community.

Initially, when I read through, I thought, what are geese doing in this post? But, after a moment's reflection, I can see it and it is awesome.

Alex

Yes, it is, Alex.

It is one of the best examples of genuine teamwork that I know.

Thank you.
Cassi

Exactly. A team like no other.

Absolutely!
