Can you put a whole folder in another folder on site content?

I don't think that's possible.
Click on Filter to create folders, then mark your documents and add them to their respective folders.

I have two questions concerning how to edit featured images in block Editor:
1. I've received permission to use images from a website as long as I give them credit. So,
Here's a blog that talks about many things related to featured images
firstsiteguide (dot) com/wordpress-featured-image/
It seems the only thing you can do to give credit for a featured image is put something in your post stating this..
Thank you. I will take a look at the blog.
And for now, I did give credit in the post, but it looks funny so I was hoping for a better way. I may have to work on making it look less funny, lol
Lynn
If you copied the image to another tool like PowerPoint or Canva and added text below the image and make it part of the image then you wouldn't have to add actual text to your post.
Diane sent me a link to learn how to use Canva. We'll see if it helps because I know how to create something but not how to get it off Canva and to my website. But I like the idea so hopefully, it will work.
If you use a featured image, the credit would need to be at the top, or high up in the post content. Just add it as a little paragraph block as high up in the post as possible.
Also, I think a featured image looks best if it matches the width of the post content.
If you're not sure how to achieve this, send me a PM.
:-)
Richard
I will PM you because I would like to know how to match the width because I agree that is best.
Hi - the position of the featured image is down to the theme you are using. I can't find any way of being able to credit the image. Even if you add a caption to it, it doesn't show up on your homepage.
I don't even know how to put a caption on a featured image, but even if I learn how and it doesn't show up on my home page, it sounds like it's not good enough. Other people have suggested putting the credit in my post as close as possible to the featured image. That's what I did and it does show up on my Home page, but looks funny in the post. Is that what you would recommend also?
Hmm, I took a look at your site and saw how you added it, and yes it looks odd.
So, I did a bit of research. And yes, as I found, you can't add a caption.
You may wish to create a simple banner in canva.com and put the credit in that, so it's above your opening paragraph, not in it.
Apparently, there is a plugin called Featured Image Caption, but I haven't looked at it, to see that it is updated on a regular basis.
Finally, does it have to be at the top of the page? Is that in their terms and conditions? Will all the images in each relevant post be from Lodge? Could you perhaps add the credit at the bottom of the post - All Images Copyrighted to Lodge and Published with Permission.
I could probably do that since they didn't specify any specific terms (if all my images are from them). They gave me permission in response to an inquiry when I asked if I could use one of their images. So far, I've only used two featured images but in both cases, the rest of the images weren't from Lodge. I've used Lodge images here and there in a post but never have I only used Lodge images. But I will keep what you said in mind.
Unfortunately, I have not learned how to use Canva yet. I've tried a couple of times but gave up before figuring much out. I might have to try again.
And I will look at the plugin soon.
Thanks for all your help.
Lynn
Canva is actually really easy and very useful. Have a look at the webinar when you get chance. Hello: Canva
Thanks, David. I don't get those choices, though. Featured images are different from post images. This is what I get when I click on the picture:
when editing images after you have clicked on it a box with edit image appears with 4 smaller boxes that designate right center and left click on the box where you want to position your image

I think I may have figured it out. One of the words was commonly misspelled (as you suggested) and I didn't realize it. I've fixed it and now I will wait and see if Google indexes it.

The page is showing up correctly on your website. I am sure the indexing issue will be resolved soon.

Does anyone know how to fix a 404 error?

I recently switched to block editor but when I add an image that I have cropped, it only gives me the uncropped version. Twice I had to crop an image in WA, publish it to WP, t
This is only a guess, but can you upload the cropped image into the media library and then to your post? This may be a wild_ss idea. But i thought I'd give it a shot. My computer skill are very weak. Mostly trial and error.
Good luck.

Thanks for your responses.
The photo I cropped was done in my media library using the editing tool provided. So the cropped photo is in my media library but when I click "select" to have it added to my post, it reverts back to the uncropped photo.
This has happened three times and I don't know why. When I uploaded the same photo to my SiteContent in WA, cropped it, and published it to WP, it got added to my media library (I now have two of the same photo, both cropped). And when I added the WA one, it worked. Still, it's an extra step that I would rather not have to take if there is a better way.
Why have the ability to edit and crop in WP media library if you can't add the cropped photo to your post? It makes no sense. What am I missing?
I think what you're both saying is to crop the photo before I upload it to my post, and not use the edit tool in the media library.
Lynn
Yes, I have found to have better results when resizing the image before uploading them into the media folder.
