100% Increase In WA Referrals - All Because Of Content
I always have a theme for each month as part of my build-out strategy. For August, it is content. My time is being spent producing new content, reviewing and updating my old content and revisiting how I push my content through Social Media (SM).
Yesterday, I encouraged you to make sure that your content is engaging, satisfying and compelling.
Today, I am sharing a little insight into why investing time into producing quality content consistent will bring you big returns in the medium to long term.
Doubled My WA Referrals In 4 Days
On 4 August, I received my first WA Referral. Thank you for celebrating that milestone with me.
Within 4 days of kicking off my Referral Coaching Campaign, with my 1st Referral, I was pleasantly surprised to welcome another on 8 August 2020. That is less than a week's time!
By now, you should know that I did my happy dance, screamed like no one's listening and celebrated with a glass of good Merlot. 😊
This success of course, on the heels of the USD 1,000 monthly retainer engagement at the end of July 2020.
What do these successes have in common, you ask?
The answer is, CONTENT!
Hone Your Craft At WA
I have been told many times that posting regularly at Wealthy Affiliate (WA) should not be a priority. Being the rebel that I am, I quietly continued along the strategic path that I had designed.
For me, learning about our WA platform and building credibility here were imperatives. This is where I wanted to sweat, fall, fail, stumble and . . . rise.
Think about that for a minute. We have a huge community of supporters, teachers and helpers here to ensure that we get it right, set ourselves on the most appropriate path and move!
In my mind, there had to be benefit in planting roots here.
And there is. What you build in our WA community is your content. Public, internet-wide content that you can leverage to attract success.
I do not want partial success. I know that I can have it all. Many of our Ambassadors do, so what is stopping me? Or you?
Some Content Statistics To Motivate You
Wealthy Affiliate Content
I have been looking at how my content is trending on our Search Engines and SM. Here's a little glimpse into my WA Stats.
Clicks on my content are averaging 40 per day. That's 280 per week and over 1,100 per month. That's a lot of clicks. Of course, I now have the opportunity to monetize all that content that is attracting attention. And, I do have a plan for that which I have started to implement.
Search Engines And Becoming A Brand
My first Referral came through this medium. That led me to the Search Engines:
The majority of content that I write at WA receives number 1 or first page rankings for numerous keywords on all the major Search Engines and has made CassiOfTroy its own authority and brand.
Very quietly, this was an objective of mine. Now that it is an established authority and brand, I intend to leverage its success and move it into the SM arena. I will share how that unfolds as I move along.
Shoot-From-The-Hip Is Not Effective Strategy
This is why you should take you time to establish your profile (your brand) and master the art of quality content within our community.
If you are really serious about building a long-term, sustainable, online business, then speed and shooting-from-the-hip may not work in your favour.
It is never too late to rethink and realign though.
Today is only Tuesday. 😉
Have a good one!

A better example of a business woman with determination, focus and long-term vision would be hard to find, Cassi. We can all learn from you, your results are awesome.
Hi Cassi. I have watched your progress since you first arrived at WA.
It's obvious that you have implemented all the training provided here.
I have no doubt that you will be a successful affiliate marketer entrepreneur.
You understand the relevance of content and branding, both essential elements of a successful online business.
It's important that any newcomers
, as well as those of us that have been here a while, follow and learn from you.
You remind me of Grace ( littlemama). You have the same ethics, determination and focus.
All the best. Jim
Wow, Jim!!
I think that Grace is awesome and way above my league.
Maybe one day I will get there.
Thank you for that motivation.
I will do my best not to disappoint.
I am at an exciting juncture and I love it.
Thank you.
Cassi
Great work Cassandra! Looks like you're really starting to move the needle on your business. Looking forward to seeing you make big steps forward in the coming months.
Nathaniell, you brought me to WA, so I have no excuse.
You are a great leader and have set the bar high.
I intend to make you proud.
Thank you for your support.
Cassi
I am fast running out of superlatives (lol, as if 😉) so I'll go with 'nicely done'.
Our outlooks (I wouldn't liken my 'plan' to yours, as I feel you might have more to it than a few words on a whiteboard) are very similar, especially when it comes to using the WA content to help with branding and authority.
Scary parallels when it comes to using social media as a vessel.
As I would have said in 'part two' of a series of posts (just haven't finished it yet) It's one thing to be able to command positions on Google when using your 'brand' as a search parameter, the next step is to have that 'brand' in someone else's search box because they know the name.
I'm sure I've written this on the back of a sweet wrapper.
Anyway, well done.👍😎
Twack, very well articulated!
Now that I have built the brand, gained recognition as an authority, honed my content skills, I am ready (with a full bucket of highly rated content) to "go to market" and sell!!!
As I roll the 'CassiOfTroy' brand out, I have 115 posts to carry me through to the end of 2020.
In the meantime, I will begin the next product design and keep that in the wings. 😉
2021 MUST be a bumper year!!!
Cassi
It will be a bumper year.
Your systematic approach will no doubt reap some well deserved rewards. There is definitely no 'shooting from the hip' where you are concerned.
There's enough information and tools out there for this not to have to rely on 'guess work'

Thank you for sharing, Cassi. Your strategy is food for thought for many of us. At last it is to me.
I have failed in thinking about branding myself via Wealthy Affiliate. The reason why, is that I haven´t taken the time in the beginning of being a member here, to think thouroughly enough about my long term goals and plan to get where I want.
As a result of this I haven´t understood the power and the visibility of what we do on the WA platform, outside of the WA platform.
Until recently, the training hasn´t really begun to, in lack of other words, make sense to me, or come together to a more complete picture of what affiliate marketing is, and which factors impact your performance as an entrepreneur.
Now that I am coming to the end of the OEC training, the understanding of affiliate marketing is beginning to "make sense" to me.
The last two weeks has culiminated in a big revelation for me , fueled, by your updates, to see what I have to do to re-adjust my directions and as such do a bit of re-planning.
Thank you so much for sharing so willingly with all of us, your strategy and advice.
Keep up the fantastic work you are doing, Cassi!

Roy, as always, I truly appreciate your kind words and support.
Your are a trusted WA Member and friend to me and boost the wind beneath my wings.
Part of my "giving back" is clear a pathway for others by sharing my lessons and failings.
They may not all work because our needs are different, but if one thing has an impact, that makes a difference.
I am so happy to know that my sharing is helping you.
I understand exactly what you are saying.
Perhaps my "dabbling" online for a couple of years prior to Nathaniell introducing me to WA, married with my HR and Communications experience helped me to pin branding as an early objective.
I paid no attention to WA Members saying that posts here made no sense.
That made no sense to me because everything we do here is in the public internet domain.
We live in a glass house.
If you ever have time to follow my posts from the start, you will be able to see how I transformed my WA posts.
There was always a reason.
It is also why I did not rush through the training. 😉
You are doing great!
If there is any more help that I can offer, please let me know.
Have a good day.
Cassi
Thank you, Cassi :-) I will let you know 👍🏼
