Getting Paid to travel, no more 9 to 5
This morning they had red potato's with onions, red peppers and sausage. I also took advantage of the oatmeal, brown sugar, real butter, and cinnamon. Oh is that is good.
The company provided me with a small apartment here at the Marriott, Residence Inn. I have a kitchen, complete with stove, fridge, dishwasher and some dishes. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom complete the home away from home feel. And I am using the kitchen, cooked up some chicken and brown rice to warm up when I get back tonight after working the show.
OH I forgot the most important item in the kitchen, the coffee pot!!! Day is off to a bad start with out that, or at least a jar of instant and hot tap water!!
I get to play with the Zambonie resurfacing the ice, or my coworker to keep the ice in tip top shape for the Performers skating in the ice for Disney's " Frozen" here in El Paso Texas. It's fun and it's boring. It is fun because it just is!!! I get to play so to speak.
However it can get boring, sitting back stage watching all the performers go back and forth getting into costume doing their thing before getting out on the ice. The first few plays were fun, no after day 2 going on day 3 the fun is wearing off somewhat. But hey, I am back stage right?? So I take my I-Pod with me and write articles like this, upload photo's and get some of my office work done all while getting paid to make sure the ice stays ice. This is one great way to pass the week.
We tear this thing out Monday and pack it all back up into the trailers. Then the next day I fly back to LA and into that 90 plus degree weather. 5 days later I am back on another plane to do all over again. This is awesome, no to work on my website.

I am happy for you , and like Katie said my grand daughter would be jealous of you getting to watch Frozen. Lol!
Well I am not really able to watch it. I am stuck back stage so I get to see all the performers and the props move back and forth. I am crammed in a corner and if the internet connections was not so overrun with all the workers using it I could get so much done online between my duties.
I did find a little spot I can spy on the show tonight so tomorrow I am going to try to get some photos tomorrow night.
However I can hear all them kids screaming and laughing, they really love the reindeer. There is one very big Reindeer that takes two performers to work. Big ol goofy face and big funny eyes.
Take some pictures and share. That would be really nice...You keep having fun, and we will wait to hear from you.

I can not believe there is so many kids around here. My goodness, every show is packed with little ones and their parents. Little girls all dressed up like the Disney girls in the movie.
Its been raining here, just saw the hills for the first time today. But I love this hotel and what I do. In the morning I am going to borrow the rental car and go into Mexico and then see some site here in El Paso before I have to show up to the show.

Thank you, I am 3 to 11 for the nest 6 shows then a crazy day loading out. I like it!! 4 days home then back on the plane again.
