About Cali
Joined May 2013
I was a live sound engineer and have had different businesses over the years as well as contracting for others, working so-called regular jobs IE Montgomery Wards, Sears, K-Mart back in my mechanic days, and stagehand stuff like building stages, rigging and playing on man lifts, or running live events. Lately, I have been involved in LED video walls and off-road races. I build video wall at church on Sundays when I am in town, done such as off-road races, driving them there, setting them up and running them, then take it all back down and packing it up and transporting it all back to shop.

I also work on Houses during the off-season, my little home improvement side gig. I have been talked into a few adventures I had no idea how to pull off at the beginning, just had the confidence knowing I could. That attitude has moved me light years ahead in the projects I found myself involved in. And successful at the end, seen many very happy smiles over the time I have involved myself in those adventures.

I got involved in Ice Rinks back in 2007, which allows me to travel during the winter season. By listening to the old techs in the field, and those signing the checks I have developed a different way of doing things. I do not insult or brag ever, nor do I have the attitude that I am better than everyone else. I've seen that in live audio, oh, many fields over the years and that is crap from old school thinking to protect one's job. We do not live in that world anymore, and the more I give freely the more even some of the old school hard Arses, lol call me back to work their gigs. All they know at the end of the event is I was smiles the whole time, nothing ever went wrong for I fixed it before it became an issue or even known about. And I helped on all the other projects that popped up or found volunteers to make it happen.

Currently, I am working on recording audio in my own studio, or mobile, I have use of both and learning video, photography, and Vlogging after hours or before hours while still gigging. And my main goal is to create a new business that works around my life, not my life fitting in with a job or my business that has become a job.

I love mountain bikes, motorcycles, water, off-road vehicles, and traveling. I am here to learn how to create a new business that does not always require my personal attention to function and to create passive income that allows me to spend more personal time with my loved ones.

It is my desire to learn and help others learn what makes them tick and to love life, and not let life live me.
Cali's Goals 3
Money Goals
1. $1000.00 a week would be great so that would so me I am capable and that would make me happy, very happy.

2. $10,000 a month would make more that giddy or as it is put here, ecstatic.

3. I will start by adding an hour in the beginning of my day to dedicate to my new business. That will be my first month, then as I learn and implement more, aka take action I will add more time daily. I want to be able to invest two hours a day by week two and four hours a day by week three and by week four I should have the formula for total hours needed on a daily basis. In a years time I do not want to be stuck trading my time for hourly rate, I want to be able to chose if I want to work that gig or not and not suffer lose of income. I want to work better gigs and still have income flow for my family and lifestyle.

Hi there Scott!

Well it all starts with a goal and now that you've got your goals outlined you can start working towards them. The more time you can spend working through the training here at Wealthy Affiliate, the sooner you will have the foundation that you can build upon. You have full control over your online business and we'll be here to help steer you in the right direction as you move forward.

Glad to see that you are taking action already by publishing your goals!
