What Do You Need To Do To Succeed
So here is another blog about a question I asked here on Wealthy Affiliate.

The question was, “What one thing do you think is most important to succeed in building your business.”
These answers came from members here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Thirteen members mentioned to go through the training. To take the time to go through each step and put it into action. That will lead you down the road to success more than any other thing.
I agree with what is taught here at Wealthy Affiliate because what is taught here is not new Internet Science or secret tips it is the basics of what works and what doesn’t. “If you do what works it works. You don’t do what work it doesn’t.”
When things are not going the way we want we should not blame ourselves and think we are doing something wrong but ask ourselves what am I not doing that I should. What am I leaving out?
Yes, there are a lot of other things that can add to or help but only if you have the foundations in place.
Do you have the foundation in place?
You cannot build the roof on a house until you have the foundation and walls in place. You know that would not work and it is the same here.
Seven members mentioned taking action. Do something. Don’t wait until you have it perfect. Do something. Build your website and get it up. Work on it as you go along.
Six members mentioned be consistent. Don’t work on it today and then wait 2 weeks to work on it again. When you have time work on it. You are building a business it takes consistent action.

Four members mentioned interacting with the community. Yes, having peers that encourage and help us keep going when we are ready to quit is important. It is like a drink of water in the middle of the desert. Sometimes their encouragement is enough to keep us going.
Four members mentioned giving back. When you can help, do so. When you can answer, a question do so. It is not about how much you know or don’t know. When you see an opportunity to help someone else do so.
Three members mentioned asking questions. When you do not know something ask someone. There are members on here with amazing skills. There are members who are successful on the Internet, graphic artist, members who build website, members who fix WordPress problems and the list goes on. A wealth of members to seek answers from. It is amazing the talent that is here that you can ask questions of.
Three members mentioned staying positive. If you do not believe you can do this you are right. If you believe you can do this you are right. The choice is yours!
One member said that in the beginning don’t spend time trying new ideas and skipping what is working. It is very good advice. Get what is here in place before you go adding to it or changing it. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel.
Another member said, “Stop looking for shiny objects and reading lots of stuff. It's time to build your business.”
Another member said, “Your basic understanding will take you further along than trying quick shortcuts.”
One person mentioned finding your niche. There is a great response on the question that helps focus on that. What was said is “The question was: If you were asked to speak at a TED talk, for compensation, what would you talk about?” That would help many find their niche.
One member mentioned focus on building your business. We came here to build a business. Everything else should be secondary. The business should come first.
There was one member that spoke of something that is a key. Be yourself! Do not present yourself any other way other than who you really are. That is what a community is about. Being able to be ourselves.
Yes, there is much more to this besides what is here. These are simple answers but simple answers many times are the best.

My hope is that this helps those that need it to stop and focus on what they need to so that can become one of the success stories on here.

In the short time I have been a member (less than a week), it has been the communities willingness to help and assist each other which made the biggest impression on me.

I appreciate the tips. Sure, these were not revelations, but sound advice. Listen, I'm just getting started, but my website is up and being tweaked as I speak. After a week and a half...got a Google adword campaign going and promoting a Facebook business page (low budget mind you!). Advertising on four free ads sites with several ClickBank products. I have done one email campaign, but I am in desperate need of more emails, but can't afford some of the prices being charged for emails. Feel stagnated, but I plug away everyday on some aspect of the foundation. Thanks guys....I can do this!!
