Gogetters Project Final Update Before Lift Off
Gogetters Project
Here it is the update on what is coming Monday January 29 exactly two weeks from today.Using the training platform here at Wealthy Affiliate, I am going to take what has been working for the Trailblazers, what I have learned works, what is taught here, and then combine it all together to make it available to the Premium Members here at Wealthy Affiliate.
You will be able to access it at your schedule.
You can work the days that you want to it is all up to you.
There will be written instructions, videos, over my shoulder step by step tips, tools you need, accountability for what you are doing and much more. Easy to understand and implement.
If you have a website or you do not have a website up this can work for you.
With that said if you cannot make the following commitments please do not waste your time or my time by going through this project.
This is for the ones who are ready to make a change and have something happen in their life.
There will be ways built into it where I can see your progress. If you want my interaction with what you are doing there has to be progress.
This will not work if you are starting then stopping then starting again and then stopping. Or if you are not finishing the training and wondering why your website is not working.
That time is over. It is time to treat this like a business and not a hobby.
You can do this, but you will only go through this training if you really want it.
So here are the commitments
1. You have to agree to stay a Premium Member of Wealthy Affiliate for 1 year. This will be a year-long program.
2. You have to be teachable. This means even if you have been doing a different way that you are not open to doing something different. Face it if it was working you would not be going through this training
3. You have to be willing to complete all assigned task when due. No procrastination by putting it off until later. You will be on the Now Plan not the put it off until later plan.
4. You have to be willing to watch the weekly recorded webinars. You can do this at your time but each week you have to watch them after they are posted. No trying to watch three weeks at once. Watching them once a week will keep you motivated to move forward.
5. Ideally you need 20 hours a week to devote to this project. If you do not have that it is okay but you have to invest as close to that as you can. Once you decide how many hours a week you are going to work then you have to stick to it. Those are your business hours. You will set them and decide what days and what time. You will fit it to your schedule. Can you do this with less than 20 hours a week? Yes! Can you do it if you have less then 10 hours a week? Probably not.
6. You have to stay focused on the work you are doing during work hours. If there are other things you need to do like check emails you do not do it at work. During work hours focusing on the task before you.
7. You have to be open with your accounting of what you have done and not done. Yes, you are going to be held accountable for what you said you would do. If you say you are going to do something by a certain date then you need to stick to that. The better you are at doing that the more one on one personal attention you will get from me. If you are not doing what you say you will do then you will be free to go through at your pace without the extra help. Again, I am not going to tell you when to work, how many hours you will work, or when you are going to finish task. You will do that but once you state what you will do and when you will do it then you are expected to do what you said. Accountability 101
8. There will be assigned books to read. 1 book a month. You have thirty days to read a book once it is assigned. If we assign one you have read before then read it again.
9. You have to be willing to at least once a week to write a post here on Wealthy Affiliate telling members what you have learned and how it is working.
10. You have to commit to putting 25% of your profit from this project back in your business as long as you are part of the group. That will be used to build your business faster. That is after you take out the money to pay for your premium membership.
11. You have to commit to focusing on one website and this project for one year. It can be an existing website or a new website you create for this project. No joining other programs, going off chasing rabbits, no new shiny launches that will make you rich overnight while you are asleep. One year of focus on this project.
12. You have to be okay in working in a just do it group. No excuses just get it done while you are in the group.
13. You can't quit once you start no matter what. This is not a I will try it project this is a do it project.
Those are the guidelines.
Think about it long and hard.
I am willing to give you my time, but you will earn it.
Do the work and we work together don’t do the work and you know the results from that.
This is going to happen for some of you.
A year from know some of you will be proud of the work you have done and will have a growing business.
A year from know some of you will wish you had taken part.
I know some of you this is not for you, someone of you are not ready yet for something this intensive, some of you know you do not have the time to devote to this and that is okay
Some of you are ready to go and want to know what to do next.
The next step is on January 29, 2018 and look for a training that says “Gogetters Phase 1”. All you will have to do is type it into that search bar and you will find. That will take you to the first step and tell you what you need to do. All the instructions to get you started will be there.
Anyone who wants in you are in just look for the training post.
What will be using is what is taught here at Wealthy Affiliate we are just going to help you implement it and fine tune it.
Onward and Upward

Thank you so much for this Bo. I think the training here is awesome, and I don't use that word lightly, but I think that the accountability of your mentoring group will definitely help to keep me on track. Thanks again and I look forward to the first post.
Have a great day. Gail
Fantastic Bo, I missed the 1st Group.
Let's do this and propagate the good work for all premium members.
I am in it and rest assured that I am here not for a year but as long as for many many years to come.
I've marked 29th Jan.2018 and the 25% profit.
Let's rock and roll together.
Cheers!
Yeah Bo, Let's make it a deal - I mean helping each one succeed is a morale boost and and a genuine deal for WA. I mean when other hosting sites dupe we must excel in showcasing real help for real people.
I mean there have been too many hosting sites that don't deliver humane help to their customers and a fresh look into the matter becomes highly essential.
Let's make WA a difference to this.
Thanks for understanding my point.
Let's rock and roll in truthfulness and honesty.
Give us, feed us everything you have before you retire from this business.
Cheers!
Thanks Bo - am sure seeing the momentum of WA from my end. How is going to be done , what needs to be and when is going to be done - this is going to be a challenge but earning the first income on the Internet, surely gives me the opportunity to share with others in Singapore.
John.
Yes it does not only can it change your life but it can help change the lives of people around you.
I have just gone through and read a couple of other posts about this and the trailblazers.
I'm VERY keen. I have some very solid goals for what I want out of 2018 and one of those is getting my site earning money. I want to learn as much as possible to make my website a success.
My one hesitation in committing is that I will be overseas for four weeks later this year. I will be taking my laptop so I can continue to update my blog and respond to comments whilst I'm away. However, I do not know how much time I will have as this is first and foremost a holiday with my children. Will it still be possible to participate in this program given this limitation?
Regards,
Megan
Yes it will just when you get ready to go let me know. We all have vacations and time off we need. Even me. That is why we do this for the freedom.
I'll have to sit down and figure out how many hours I have available first. I don't want to commit to this and discover that I don't have enough hours to put in. This looks like a great intensive system to make everything work - I hope to be able to have enough hours to do this.
I'll let you know. Thanks for this opportunity to be better! :D
The work you are putting into this, the explanations you give and the opportunities you are providing for everyone is very inspiring.
I will be following your progress from "outside" of your group as this is not for me, it just doesn't fit in with my current obligations and lifestyle.
Good luck and cheers for the motivation.
Hi Bo, I just read your update for the Gogetters.
Since I consider myself a Newbie here at WA, what would you recomend to have in place before we start, are there stretching exercises, ha ha. Should I get familiar with a certain book or a training tutorial, should I be at a certain level of WA certification.
I just want to be ready!
I have microphone failure on this lap top, so a Skype call would be one sided, its OK because we will be working together soon anyway.
I do believe, that this might be the hardest thing I'll ever do. But the outcome, what will life be like this time next year.
Your a GREAT man Bo !
Guy Krow
My recommendation is to do as much of the certification as you can between now and then. Don't rush through it but learn it as you go through. That will save you work later on.
Thank you Bo! Great detail to the tasks at hand and confirming the time involved that will work to bring us closer to success, sooner than later, so I will think about this very seriously as 20 hours is a challenge, however will at least have this time to think of changing things up a bit.
Good as long as you have a least 10 hours it will work. Any less than that it will get real hard.
Now 10 hours is doable without too much to adjust, and will continue to give this some more thought.. thank you Bo!

[shaking hands] After careful consideration.... Agreed + Committed to all of it Bo! I made a list of all the things that I've committed to here (and in your previous post) in front of my diary so that I can review them often. The toughest 2 commitments were the one to blog here on WA weekly and to focus and turn off all distractions during work hours. [sweeping forehead with back of hand] I jumped that hurdle, I'm committed! ;-) LOL!
I have found the best way for me to stay focused when I am working on my site is to close my emails down. I'm not tempted now to check them as they ping a notification. I only open them a couple of times a day and spend a dedicated 5 minutes to look through them. Has reduced my wasted, distracted time!
Thanks for sharing Megan!
I don't have a ping notification, since that would drive me crazy, but I have been in the habit of checking regularly. But after reading this post early this morning (it is past midnight already in my part of the world), I decided to actively kick that habit. So I am seriously winding down on checking.
I also bought an eggtimer, so that I can time how long I am spending on emails, otherwise it is easy to get out of hand.
I will follow your advise and close my emails down completely - that should make it easier - thanks for sharing! ;-)
It is easy to get distracted during work time.
I have to do the same thing Megan
I use a timer and do things in 1 hour blocks and then move on to the next thing. It is amazing how much you can get done doing that.
