How Do Non Members Join WA Through Your WA Blogs

Since coming back to Wealthy Affiliate a few weeks ago, I've been slowly creating a WA Blog Post based on a great low QSR keyword for 2025. Since starting that post I've put it on hold twice because I wanted to prove to the newbies that WA Blog Posts DO RANK in Google.

My last post was How Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It which showed my previous WA post called How To Earn Passive Income From Home ranking on Page 1 of Google, shows the power of a Wealthy Affiliate Blog Post in the Google Search Results. This is why WA is worth it.

I went on to say, as I have previously, that people who are not members at WA can see our blogs and become your affiliate referral if they join from your WA Blog Post. I had a comment from a member asking me how is that possible, especially if we are not using our affiliate link?

HERE'S HOW YOU GET WA REFERRALS FROM WA BLOG POSTS

First you should write your WA Blogs like you do your website content, using low QSR Keywords in your title and content. Next, share your WA Blog on social media. You don't need to use your affiliate ID, just copy the link that appears at the top of the screen. See image below.

When sharing your blog post on social media remember not to post your link with a few words in the description area. You want to write something that will make people want to click and read your blog. Offer quality engagement. Get people interested in your WA Blog Post.

Once a non-member of WA clicks on your blog in your social media post, they will see your full WA Blog Post and on the right side bar there will be the offer and benefits of joining Wealthy Affiliate. See the image below. It will look similar, if they are viewing it on a tablet like I am.

If a non WA member is reading your post and hopefully the comments too, they may feel like checking out what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer them. It is FREE after all. So now they click on the "Create Your Free Wealthy Affiliate Account Today!" offer in the side bar and take action.

HOW THEY BECOME MY REFERRAL WITHOUT MY AFFILIATE ID

When we share any content from the WA community that we didn't write ourselves, on social media, in emails or through our website content, we have to use our affiliate ID in the link to get credit for the referral. This ID of letters & numbers, tells WA who the referral belongs to.

However, as the author of your WA Blog Post, you do not have to use your affiliate ID in your link. Wealthy Affiliate knows which of its blog posts belong to which member simply by using the member's name in the URL. Mine says "boomergp08" so they know I get the referral credit.

Anyone who enters Wealthy Affiliate from one of your WA Blog Posts they have read on social media or found on Google, you will get the affiliate referral credit should that person complete the sign up process. As the author of your blog there is no need for you to use your affiliate ID.

Here's something every member who promotes WA with a website should do. We all know that too many affiliate links on a page is not a good idea. You could always place a link to your WA blog in a relevant part of your content and Google will not see it as an affiliate link.

What if that person enters WA from your blog but doesn't complete the sign up process? The referral cookie is set. If that person joins from another member's affiliate link, YOU STILL GET THE REFERRAL, as long as that person doesn't clear their cache. The WA cookies are lifetime.
