For new members what training would you recommend beyond the initial wordpress and SEO training? pay-per-click? email marketing? etc?
What are you looking to learn more about? If PPC intrigues you, dive into an expert class on it while you continue creating content. If it’s social media or email marketing that you’d like to learn about, check out a class on those. 😎👍🏼 The more you learn about this business the more potential you have. Sometimes we realize, ok, I’m not quite ready for this aspect of marketing yet, let me move into something else. It’s all about learning and growing.

Sooner or later, email marketing. Start with creating a lead magnet that visitors can download in exchange for giving you their names and email addresses.

I am using WP theme RAFT and going through the WA Affiliate bootcamp Phase 2 : Lesson 4 of 15. The menu changes will not propagate to my site. Additionally, I do not have Widge
Sounds like you need to change your theme
To change your theme, here is what to do.
You may go to Appearance > Themes and add new.
Input what you are looking for, install, and activate.
Your content will be left intact; you may lose out on CSS styles and social media icons if, however, with a bit of tweaking, you are done.
We always recommend leaving a backup theme; you may do so with the Twenty TwentyThree. (Default)

I use the Blocksy theme; the free version has many features and is very versatile.

I use the Kadence theme and you can do anything with it. iT is the paid version but Generate Press is much slower to load
The basic principles of all the training will apply no matter your theme, but some themes will have different features and options than others.
The WordPress theme that most of us use is GeneratePress. You can get that for free. GeneratePress theme is ultra-fast and best for SEO. It is in the Hub lessons; there is another boot camp in the Hubs. Did you know that? The old bootcamp training will be gone after March, so now a new version exists.
