Hi,

I too, am facing the same problem. After trying to install numerous premium themes on my website which I hosted on GoDaddy and then moved to WA, I finally decided to make the switch.
Did you manage to install the premium theme after switching to Bluehost?

I'd like to know as well

Why would someone change from a free hosting plan to one with a monthly fee?

WA has a monthly fee, it comes out of my bank account... It's mostly for the hosting services.....

Moving website hosting has nothing to do with your domain name.

Your domain name will stay registered at Namecheap. So if you go to Blue Host, you will still need to log in to Namecheap for your domain name renewal when its due.

It's always a good idea to back up your site regularly..

This will help as she uses Blue Host as the specific example: ~Jude

Hello Jude, Thank you very much indeed :).

If you Namescheap.com the process is very easy to transfer without missing a beat

Yes, I bought my domain from Namecheap.

Would this help:

Thank you Kav.

I just want to know what is local marketing and how it works? If there is training here, please share a link with me. It needs to be a very basic because I

Well, large companies and small mom-and-pop companies have been doing this for years. They directly contact consumers through mail, in-town events, local team sponsorships, or advertisements in the town paper.
There are other fabulous tutorials here. Just type local marketing in the center search bar.

Thank you very much Madam.

You're welcome!

Hello Friends,

Hi, there!

I am so glad I found this post because I was just about to ask the exact same question.

I, too, am from London, England and I am going through the exact thing as you. Min (I am currently unemployed). I am really keen to meet up with fellow UK WArriors in London to talk about Affiliate Marketing, share ideas/ hints & tips and to hear about success stories.

Anyone interested in meeting up? We can meet up at a pub or coffee shop, somewhere that is halfway for all of us. I'm in North West London, by the way.

Regards,

Saima

Hi, From near York. Best of luck with your plans to meet up with fellow WAer's. If you do, start a blog so those of us further aay can contribute.

Cheers,

Greg

Hi Greg,

I will try my best.

I like in London UK

Hello Madam,
It's very nice to meet you :).

If you mean London, England - I have but I don't. If you mean London, Canada no, but I have heard of it.

Hello Miriam, Yes I mean London- England. I am looking for friends to talk , share the experiences and knowledge about IM. Do you live in London?

I don't but I have. I lived up in suburban London for a few years. Mostly associated with a university.

I knew nothing about IM when I got here. In truth, I am not even interested. However, I have wanted to help my writing business and according to this place the training and website development might be able to really help. The idea of making some extra money by selling other peoples' products as well as my own or because someone else joins WA because of me is fine. I'm not sure it will work. Have you been earning money with it? Do you have a lot of experience with it?

Hey, yes I live in London!

Hello Gabriela,
Very nice to meet you. Are you working on your website? If you need any help pls give me a shout. I live in Tottenham ( North London ). We can meet up some other time to chat about Internet Marketing , about WA and share our knowledge :). I hope you are doing great. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Kind Regards,
Thiha Min

Hello Friends,

Is there any difference using free theme Vs premium theme? I mean in terms of ranking on search engines. Faster loading time? I'm not quite sure. I am think

To me, it does not matter free or paid theme, the most important thing is to get traffic to yr website. :)
Nathaniel has a great blog post on the free ones:

Hi Jewel. Thanks for your comment :)

I only use free themes. You can get excellent support here at WA so I can't see any value in purchasing a premium theme, especially when you are new to internet marketing. Maybe others will have different recommendations for you. ~Marion

Hello Marion. Thank you very much for your comment. I really appreciate. Have a good day ahead Marion :).

Yes, you may get extra 'features' by using a premium theme....but if you are just starting out those 'extras' can wait until you have the customer base, reader base, etc. to justify any additional costs....

Hello Rosie. Thank you very much for your comment. Really appreciate. Have a good day ahead :)

Premium themes come with free support & personal service, if you need some customization like I did, the theme creator is more willing to help a paying customer. But there are plenty of decent free themes to get you started.

Thank you very much for very good advice Jason. Have a good day :)

Many premium themes include SEO fields and are written to be SEO friendly. But you can achieve this with free plugins too :)

Hello Mr.Ervin. Thank you very much for the info :)

There can be significant differences. Premium themes typically have more features with option panels, theme settings, and pre-defined styles. They can also have better support, quicker updates, and be optimized for faster loading. There are also specialized-use themes for sales pages, landing pages, conversion etc. (such as OptimizePress, Thrive Themes, and others.) Be sure to check the track record of the theme developers, as not all are created equal. There are some excellent companies out there, and some that are less reliable.

Hello Mr.Steve. Thank you very much for such an insightful comment. I really appreciate. Have a great Sunday :).

Thank you for your input here Steve... very interesting stuff. I'd love to know who the top rated premium themes are.

"Top rated" really depends on what is needed from a theme. Many people are happy with just basic blog features and don't need advanced or specialized extra features. However, certain themes lend themselves to specific types of sites such as blog, magazine format, e-commerce integration, portfolios, video sites, business sites, church sites, education, and the list goes on. Some premium themes are built as child themes on WP frameworks like Genesis, which minimizes possible WP upgrade problems.

A review site showing some of these (and more) can be found at http://www.premiumwp.com/best-premium-wordpress-themes-collection/ . A quick Google search for "top rated premium wordpress themes" will show many others.

Thank ya' Steve! I've been toying around with StudioPress and Elegant Themes. I love having control over content width, sidebar width and a bunch of other stuff. I used Weaver II for a long time due to so many great options but then started having a few theme/plugin issues and changed it out on two of three websites. I'm one of those guys that just loves having as many options as possible! Thanks again!!!

In my experience there is no benefit to purchasing a theme besides getting one that is pleasing to your eye. It will not help Google rank and depending on the design elements of the theme, it may actually have a slower loading time(like if it uses a lot of large images or parallax).

Hello Russ, Thank you very much for your comment. Have a great Sunday :)
