Almost Cancellated my membership
Hello to you all, its so long since I bogged on here I can remember how long since my last blog
The reason is that I have been to hell and back with depression, I really thought it was the end and my depression took me over but I fought back and I am still here
I have just started building websites for clients and so I am at last breaking through this online marketing stuff.
As I cancelled my membership something inside me made me rethink and somehow WA is part of my life and my future business online
To be truthful I still don't know what area or niche is right for me but I am not one to give in.
I have been sober for almost 12 years now and I continue with my therapy which is very difficult and painful still
Well I am still here and will be for some time, I will try and blog some more now my depression has been put behind me I hope.
I have always loved being part of this community and I want to stay so I have already paid my yearly membership fee.
My electrical business went downhill for a while so I did some old fashioned marketing and went round my local area into over 100 small business handing out my business cards and it worked.
My electrical business is now back on track and old fashioned face to face marketing still has a great deal of power - The internet is not the always the answer when it comes to marking, people I visited and gave my business card out to were amazed that I went round personally to them, as no one does this any more
Well let me tell you it works so don't forget the personal touch is still the best marketing in the world

This is great news! I also strongly believe in the power of person to person interaction.
You made me think of a crazy invention someone created where you could interact with your pets at home by live video feed....although that's a nice gesture (I guess?) it's no replacement for contact (

Barry so glad to hear you are back where you belong, you have got alot of friends here that will see you through, and renewing your subscription yearly is a great move now you cant think about cancelling, well not for another year anyway, keep your chin up, its always darkest before the dawn.

I'm in the same way, but just renewing my yearly, so I CAN NOT quit.

It,s good you are still here Barry,as you put it so well WA does become part of your life.Do you know that I only ever went through the green button training and nothing else,as you will remember I do suffer with bad depression and mental illness but I am still here also,if it had been for the riches I would have been long gone.I will be here two years on February next year and I have noticed a lot of the names I recognised at the beginning are some where else now,maybe one day I will push on with the training but for now I just take each day as it comes.I am very much into my art work and that is thanks to you,I have about 17 different colouring books now,French colouring pencils Swiss colouring pencils,pastels markers glitter pens and lots of other stuff,making cards now and enjoying it very much.
