We all have sat down in front of a piece of white paper, and In some occasion, the panic has taken over. We know we have a job, we have to create that piece of content!!

I peruse various news sites daily looking for articles in my niche. Once that activity triggers an idea, I just start typing. Somehow, the words just start flowing then.

Also, I periodically review the old articles that I have posted. Inevitably, new ideas come up and I end up adding new information to the existing articles.

Yes I google, I google my intended keyword/phrase, I google my keyword/phrase in google images, take a lot of notes, and I am right back on track

My big problem is procrastination, I rarely have an issue coming up with anything to write about. Finding time is a whole other matter.

You can use Google Alerts to email you with relative articles online to help give you inspiration. https://www.google.com/alerts

Another really good tool I like to use is http://ubersuggest.org/
Simply type in a keyword and it will give you a list of various keywords and phrases that will give you endless ideas for posts.

I just pretend I've just sat down with a good friend to talk about (fill in the blank). Then I write my conversation down.
This does 3 things:
(1) It gets the creative juices flowing.
(2) It starts things off in an easy, conversational tone.
(3) It breaks through the editor/critic that can stop you before you even start.
Hope this helps!

I have emails sent to me on a daily basis from google, amazon, home based business and affiliate marketing which helps me get ideas. Then I have to do some research and check keywords.
Once I get going I can't seem to stop writing.
I try so hard to not go over 500 -1000 words and sometimes I find myself going way over 1000 words.
Then I go back through my blog and try to eliminate some things that do not make sense
Hope this helps!
Sheila

you could also (instead of eliminating) try to see if you can separate it into two different posts :)

Hi. I jump into jaaxy, grab a common word for my niche and throw it into alphabet soup. Ideas abound, it never fails.
The best way to break writers block is....write.....anything, gobble-d-gook, spill the beans, vent....just start writing. I speed write too and come back later for editing/ polishing or just file it. Not everything has to be published.
Go really well from Janelle

I will look at competitor's sites and other blogs looking for ideas or things that will trigger ideas. Another thing that I do is to just start writing about something and then try to slide into the topic that you need.

Being a former military musician, I would listen to some of my favorite jazz and concert band music and that tends to clear my head where I can focus. Dave.

The best to shift writers block is ....write! Something, anything, not necessarily sales page, make your self waffle on for 30 minutes.
Go well from Janelle.

I'll cruise a few forums within the niche and look for folks asking questions. If you can discover the "pain" spots for people and deliver a nice tutorial on resolution, you've got a winner!

In general reading, this always helps me.
