Social Media and growing your website

Recently I've been trying to get into social media outlets to grow my website and business. I have some things to do yet, but I've come to the realization I need to get out of my comfort zone and use social media.

Facebook is something that I have been comfortable with for quite some time, but twitter and Google+ are new outlets for me. I have yet to delve into pinterest or some of the other social medias. I have some familiarity with LinkedIn, but not much. My next steps are to learn more about these outlets to grow my business, how to use them to my benefit. I know I will get great help from the community here at WA.

I'm still learning so much, but truly wish I had more time to really devote to my website, to WA, and to really get everything up and running. I feel like there is always something preventing me from really taking in all the information I need and want from WA. I do have a lot going on currently, and I'm doing my best to balance everything.

My wedding is now in 74 days, there's quite a lot to do until then, and still a lot to do in my new house. Not to mention I'm doing this while working full time as a bartender, meaning I don't work normal hours. The day will come where my hours are normal, my business will be my passion, and I won't have to balance work, sleep, time, family and friends. That day isn't far away, I can feel it.

My ranking keeps getting better as I am now at 647. Less than a week ago I was just under 1000, as I finally dropped under that century mark. Although my ranking getting better is exciting, my focus is on that first dollar, and I've been feeling a lot closer lately to making that sale. I've been getting more traffic, I've drawn people to my website and ads, and soon they will be purchasing items using my links. I've also been trying hard to get people to sign up for WA, as this has been such a great experience for me and my friends and family should get involved as well.

I've reached out to some friends about writing about specific sports and health on my site recently. It would be great to have other voices providing information for nutrition and work outs. Adding more expertise is always great, but before I ever get there, I need some income, and I would love for it to be steady. I also want to do more research on the benefits of having multiple authors for my site. That is for down the road, I sometimes feel I get to far ahead of myself, need to slow down and do one thing at a time. Until then, my very next step is completing my next lesson.
