Can I get your votes please?
Hi people,
please could you check out my home page at Veganeur.com and tell me which version is better, e.g the first half or the second half?
The most important info is that with the green icons, so please can you tell me which one draws your eyes more to them? (I forgot to animate the second lot, but will do so).
Some pages need to be deleted but also if you've any other comments or suggestions about the homepage or the rest of the site, please do let me know here.

It's in Spanish but please don't be concerned about that, - it's all about the design for now folks!! :) (Until I get the English site up and running). I'm really just interested in which version is easiest on the eye and appears nicer in design/has the info displayed in a way which would draw you to the green icon info more before exploring the rest, etc. You could also comment on the colours or images, and if you are Spanish speaker, then please correct any mistakes.

I've made a couple of changes - now what do we think? (I think I would still put the slider images in on the top example as well, - not sure, they might be superfluous there)? In either case, the final section of icons on the bottom example would also still be there.

I think I prefer the top half, with the photographs on the left. I think I prefer it because the "farmer" and the cow are looking slightly to the right, into the frame, rather than slightly away from it. Also, I prefer the "farmer" positioned above the fruit. (I assume he is a farmer!)

Hehe - he is definitely not a farmer, - he is a friend of mine looking after Tate the rescued cow, - I wondered if it might give the wrong impression lol, but it's such a lovely photo I wanted it somewhere on the front page. - If I take the veggies off will it give the right impression, or will people still think he's a farmer? It's not good if people think he's a farmer, lol! It's meant to show a different relationship.
Presumably, the text will explain things to people and make everything clear. I suspect that otherwise most people will draw the "farmer" conclusion. It is a really good photo, so I wouldn't worry, in fact it might make people more curious to read the text.

Thank you. I'm also wondering this. Lol, I just love the pic. I could put it on a different page of course, but I like it for the front. I'm thinking now maybe add more animals as someone pointed out the veggies picture is really not the best. Thank you for your input, it is very much appreciated.
I prefer second half, but would like a darker green (I find light green too bright), but that's just my personal preference.
This is sounding great guys thank you for your feedback, you are really helping and so far the second half is winning.
My vote goes for the second half layout. I think since most read left to right, it's important to start the page with copy on the left, then as it flows to the right, you have the photos on the far right to support that copy.
And if your most important info is with the green icons, I also like how it's in the middle column of the second half version. It's impossible to miss in that middle location. Those are my thoughts... keep up the great work. :-)
Nice layout. I like it very much. The pictures, I think, have to be on the left hand side because that is where the eye goes first (we are used to read and scan pages from left to right). I did not see any difference in the green icons between the first and second half of the page...

Thanks Loes, but honestly it's just about the design, so people don't really need to be able to read the content just yet. :)
In that case, I would change the order of the menu, start with home, then blog and then the rest, and do not put two the same pics on one page, hope this is of some help, greetings Loes
