Not 1 but 3 number 1 rankings on page 1 of Google, Bing, and Yahoo I am happy

This morning I decided to check up on Jaaxy as I have been doing some updates to some posts
When I went into the site ranking I noticed (which I had to double check) I had not 1 post on the first page but 3
I went to Google then also checked in Incognito mode as well just to be sure and yes confirmation all three were there 1st spot on page one but not only Google also on Bing and Yahoo.

Instead on focusing on creating new content I felt a need to spuced some old posts for a change.
Glad I did as shown above and below
These posts are old ones in fact the Eucalyptus one was one of my first posts I did 4 ½ years ago when I first started with Wealthy Affiliate not only was this post number 1 but also as a snippet which I never have had before.
So I changed a few words and paragraphs not much and made sure all images and Alt text and tags were correct and optimized as well.
It has been a while since these post were up when they belong and last I checked a couple of weeks ago they weren’t even ranking at all at the top 10 pages.
So it goes to show old posts can still rank and if you re-fresh them maybe change a few things around just make sure you don’t alter the original keywords they can come back as shown here.
Keep going forward and believe in yourself and all you do.
So of course continue to create new posts but don’t forget the ones you may have done a while ago and don't put them aside because they aren’t ranking anymore.
Revamping old post do work so go for it.
Meanwhile I will be doing the happy dance then continue to work on some more along the way.
Other posts are ranking due to making changes
If you have another look at the Jaaxy tracking image at the top, you will see there are other posts that are on first page on Bing and Yahoo these ones are also some of the ones I have been re-vamping.
Hope this will encourage those who have some old posts that are not going anywhere to go back to them and just change a few things and don’t forget to check those images to make sure all is done properly including resizing (optimizing them) if needed.
All I can say is thank you Wealthy Affiliate if it hadn’t been for the awesome training provided I would not have learned how to get ranked at all.
This goes to show that going through the training applying what you have learned and just get the job done.
Even better I didn’t have to pay to get it up there just write naturally add you keywords and trust the system.
You will noticed on one although I am number 1 it is behind 4 paid ads so one day I will be above them but for now so proud of my work and know that I am doing the right thing all because of the training.
Yes I will give credit to myself for putting in the hard work but also give credit to WA for the training given.

Yes it is certainly possible and as I said many have done it and even gained better results than I have.
So never any impossibility but a certainly provides one applies what is taught with Kyle and his pieces of training and just as important you effort to make it happen

I agree it is a good idea to go back to old posts and improve them by adding more information, make sure the post includes related keywords and double check that the images have the alt text.

This is so cool... what strategies have you found work best for inside optimization? I try to write these caption and description naturally.

These are my strategies,
No 1 go through all of Kyle's training
No 2 apply what you are taught
No 3 Write the content naturally and use the right keyword preferable long tail ones
No 4 as for images optimize all images although I have smush and EWWW Optimizer plugins on my website I also optimize them before they go to my post where I use https://tinypng.com/ or https://imagecompressor.com/
No 5 Believe in yourself and in all you do.
No6 Always go forward

Hi Andre well done. I've been doing the same thing and editing some posts. I'm in a competitive niche and have started to realize that to rank high and beat out my competition I have to write long posts of about 3000 words.
So I've been adding copy and lsi keywords to some older posts. It takes a while for Google to decide where to rank the post once you edit it, but it seems to pay off for me.
The reward is having he post move up the rankings.

Thank you and yes it may take a while especially if you have a lot to do but like you said the reward brings the results in this case at the top on Page 1 couldn't ask for more.
Well I guess new referrals would make it better but for now I am happy

No, the keyword stayed as so does the URL which is best not to change plus the fact I have ranked with some of these post years ago.
All I did was rewrite a paragraph or two made some adjustment to the images which are still the same just made sure the alt text & Image Title Attribute to make sure they were all there as a couple I found were not plus optimized some images as well.

Okay, another question: What do you mean by image Title Attribute? Something to do with the meta title and description? I think I have more trouble with vocabulary than anything sometimes.
Here is an image from that Eucalyptus post with the Image title attribute added.
What happens here is that when you point the cursor arrow over the image it will tell you what it is about rather than just having an image.

I got to thinking about them last night after going to bed (I do my best thinking then.) I believe I will put some amusing comments on them...a little surprise for the reader.
Why not Fran if it can also relate to the post even better. Just keep them interested but make sure you are always adding value to your content.
