Hello friend! To tell you the truth, I am feeling very demotivated as on using keyword too, I found that I have many competitiors in my niche (about 400) Do you think I should
Hi Anne,
To be honest, that's rather quick that you are demotivated, already after 3 days....
But anyway: tell me what your niche is and which keyword you wanted to use and I will give you some that are below 400 competitors...
Please, know that you also can find those but not after 3 days, which lesson do you follow now?
Grtz,
Bert
Heloo Bert! Actually, you are right. I got demotivated rather quick. But with all those scary keyword tool's results... well...
My niche is based on relationships. I actually enjoy writing on them so I thought I should take this niche. I used keywords like " How to get your ex back" in the keyword tool, jaxxy.
Presently, I am in the getting started course 1 lesson 8 ( very slow progress, i know... cuz i've change my niche about 10 times and created as well as deleted about 10 websites)
Hi Anna,
Wel well wel, I have checked your keyword in the keyword tool on the wa site, I don't have access to Jaaxy anymore...:-(
But the one you suggested: "how to get your ex back" is the best keyword I have ever seen actually, I never saw a power 10 before! :-)
"how to get your ex back" 10221 searches 1738 traffic competition 377 power keyword =10 (there is no 11)
So you found a perfect keyword, with lots of traffic and searches...
Ok, you have some competition but when you use they keyword well, you will be get ranked well also and then you have 1732 people that click on 1 of the links every month! In theory, that is 4 times a month that every website can have a visitor...
This one of my best keywords: "make money with doing what you love" searches152 traffic26 competition9 power keyword 8
In theory, that is 3 times a month that every website can have a visitor... 33% percent less chance to have a click :-)
So, I have to congratulate you with that keyword, it is perfect!
And when you are already at course 1 lesson 8 then you are going like a train, I ended my Course 2 after 19 days (I have written a blog about it, that's why I know it...) I think you will end course 2 a lot faster...
So cheer up, you are doing excellent, can't be better...
And if you love your niche, I am sure there are a lot of interested people....
Grtz,
Bert
HI only 400 well how many people in the planet???
Do not be silly it is your chance to show them all what you can do
Paul
What is your niche? Have you taken Kyle's training on choosing a niche? Choosing Your Direction - It Starts With a Niche If you think of it from the number of users that are on the internet, and you want a sliver of that traffic, I don't think that any niche is over saturated. I'm not sure what your nice is, but maybe you have chosen a topic that is too broad and you need to narrow it a little bit.
There are also strategies that are going to be covered in training on how to pick low hanging fruit keywords, if you have not gotten there yet.
Yes, it will certainly be work, but I think the most important thing is to choose something you enjoy. You are going to be writing about it a lot and constantly learning new things about your niche. Having a strong interest in it is going to help and if you follow the training you will eventually start to get ranked.
Thanks fo the reply chistiana. My niche is... Well, how to make your relationships stronger... Subniches are stuffs like how to kiss a guy and other stuffs... But for every such topic, I seem to have an average of 400 competitors.. :(

1and1 lets first time users get domain names for $0. Does anyone use them?? Would you suggest making a domain with them?? or should I go to the more reliable one, namecheap, fo
I would go with Namecheap. This is my first time using them and I have found them to be good to work with. It's also useful for WA because a lot of folks on here are with Namcheap so you should be able to find advice if needed. They have updated their site recently - so seek out the latest trainings for setting up your DNS.
This is the training that I used but there are others available.... How to Setup NameCheap DNS latest UI 2015
i had an issue with 1 and 1 in the fact that they wont let you migrate your domain to another hosting company for 60 days. So in the future I would avoid. Just my 2 cents
My sons also had problems with 1 and 1 and he works as a senior sales engineer for risual the UK's microsoft company of the year 2015. 1 and 1 kept billing me some six months after I'd cancelled, this was after the twelve month tie in period, I might be a one off, but their attitude was that they are always right, it was only after the threat of small claims court action that I got a full refund. Caveat Emptor.
Yeap, it might mean that "free" stuff is never that free.
I got an even "better" experience with GoDaddy.
I was buying a new domain and I noticed the VAT amount for my country (Portugal) -- I thought "why so much?!". (For the sake of an example, let's say $2.)
Just out of curiosity I changed locations to an African country and then to the USA to check and see how much VAT would I pay if I lived elsewhere.
Then, when I changed locations back to Portugal, the VAT amount had increased for $2 to $5...
How about that? I contacted support, explained the whole situation, sent them screenshots and... nothing. They simply "forgot" to answer or solve this issue.
Hi
Ye most big internet companies seem to be a law unto themselves. One thing that intrigues me is how does the internet know if your dead or seriously injured and in hospital. In the days of the shop you just stopped going in and local enquiries were made.
1and1 is fine. Well established, well known company and you'll have no problem using them.
Namecheap give you free WHOIS Privacy for the first year, so you can hide your identity. Good if you don't want people to know you are the owner of the domain & have spammers find your email address.
( Namesilo is another good one that often has cheap deals on name registrations. )
Thanks fo the answer Imc!!! :) But does 1and1 also offer privacy?? Or do we have to buy it?? Thanks! :)
Yes. Privacy is free with 1and1.
There's hardly anything that can go wrong with a domain name. The only thing you're going to do is change the nameservers.
Which takes a minute and then renew the domain every year or so. So feel free to buy from any of the big registrars.
Where you host the site is way more important and requires more thought ( should you decide to move away from WA hosting in the future )
Hi,
It is, of course, tempting a free .com domain for a year...
But I use Namecheap and I think it works very good...
I also use it because they advise it during the course, but I think they know what's best, so...
Grtz,
Bert

Which domain extension should I choose between .com and .xyz ??
The little research I have done (which isn't much but I had the same question) list the order of preference... .com .org then .net but apparently they all stand for something... .com = commercial page .org=not for profit organisation/charity and I can't remember what .net was. Wow...look what I've learnt in 3 days here lol

So after finally setting up my account, I need to find the way to begin IM. But where should I start? Which course should I take at first?
I suggest you take the getting started course and not the bootcamp. Read the blog post below for the reasons behind my suggestion. Newbies - Don't Join Bootcamp!
Hello Anne, I would agree with Ceed. Get some money coming in with the referral system and then branch out from there. Dave.
Thanks fo the suggestion Dave... But can you plz elaborate how can I use the referral system?
Anne, The affiliate bootcamp course will be the starting point. I tell you what, I have been working on the get started here course 1, ( the green button to the left of your profile area). I was going to do affiliate bootcamp later. Why don't we do the affiliate bootcamp together. This way we both get through it and build the affiliate website. I think with your situation, it will get you into making money the quickest just like Ceed said on his comment below. If you are going to go premium then you will have the ability to private message so that you can talk directly to me if you wish as we go through the class together. Let me know what you think? Dave.
Thanks fo the reply Dave. But I think I will stick to the course right now, as my expenses won't allow me. I am new to this IM thing so I am a bit cautious about making deal with strangers( no hard feelings!) Thanks anyway!

Hello
im sure your niche is not only on that 1 keyword alone. You have many competitors, they feel the same but still going on, do the same.
