I read all around WA that Yoast is so much better than AIO SEO in so many ways. If that is the case, why aren't the training videos asking us to install Yoast instead of AIO SE
AIO SEO is simpler. Yoast does things like shorten your URL (removing stop words), and is very distracting with it's "SEO greenlight" thing. Ugh, I hate that thing. They also still focus on things like Meta descriptions and titles which are useful, but not vital.
For beginners, AIO SEO is better because it's simple and not distracting. I do not use Yoast.
Got it.. Thanks.. The way a few members sound, it gives a feel that it is highly superior than AIO SEO...
Personally i prefer it , i just changed over last week and i dont regret it yet and i dont think i will....for us newbies i think yoast makes you think way more about your content and helps you focus on stuff you missed......and believe me i missed stuff...thank you YOAST ! xoxo also when i set it up for the first time there was a button that said do you want to IMPORT all you ALL IN ONE SEO settings and i said YES and CLICKED the button and it did it all for me :-)) My personal preference is YOAST .........also PAUL https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/paulgoodwin is great if you have any YOAST issues and so is STEVE https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/steveolan
HOpe it helps you decide :-)) YOAST has its own great training to called https://my.onpage.org/login/ which is a HUGE help too

John is right, it comes down to personal preference. I have been using Yoast for years and wouldn't use anything else.
The green light they introduced are fantastic, especially the readability. My writing has improved since using it.
Having said that I think All-in-One is very good too.
Cheers Kev

Niche question. can this be considered a niche? just want to make sure this isn't too narrow. any he
Can this be considered a Niche?
I want to build a website helping guys from India (as in the country), between the age group of 18-35 or so FIND A GIRLFRIEND OR GIRLFRIE
The Young Indian Men's Guide To Finding Female Friends....I think it is an awesome niche.
Etiquette, grooming, self confidence exercises, and a meet up service. ...subscription/ paid membership /. Yes there are many dating sites but how many are for Indian men ? And how good are those sites.?
I think this has a lot of potential and a fantasticly well defined and large demographic/ audience.
When you can pin point a problem and offer actionable solutions you have a good niche.
Go well from Janelle.
Yes, I think it is a great niche, Ok, I read this below post sometime ago, and find it great, I think it will give you some ideas about breaking down a niche : Breaking Down A Niche And also, you may want to learn about targetted keywords and LSI keywords : FREE Keywords & How to Find Keywords in WA Keyword Tool
I don't know if this will help you in any way, as I know so little of the Indian Culture.
I studied some literature based on historical elements of certain Indian religions, and I find such beauty there, such innocence and a neutral but respectful approach....
Could be that many people long to get back to something like that, but I don't know how you can integrate it, without people thinking you are promoting a religion, although I'm sure there must be a way......
I hope I've been able to add a helpful thought......
You are someone of courage, who has found an interesting and challenging niche.....
Greetings,
Therese
Thank you for the encouraging words. I'm doing my research and getting more focused on what exactly I want to do. Will keep you posted. Ty.
Hey honey, dont know how i missed this question, THANKS ANDI, really sorry hun. I think it could be a very good niche, you just have to be careful you dont turn it into a dating site (unless that is what you want it too be?
You could aim it at helping guys bulid there confidence, videos and the such like (and a few episodes of BBT thrown in ....lol LOVE rajesh.....lol ).
YOu could monitize on books, music, clothes to help guys feel more confident. you could maybe even get female life coaches
http://www.farzanajafferjeraj.com/

ANDI,.....thank again for point this out to me :-)) xox
DatIn and relationships is a huge niche, but very competitive. There are dating sites and clickbank affiliate programs in this niche you can get ideas from.
Wish you much success in your business. Cheers Kev
Ty. Appreciate the response. Does a competitive niche mean that I should try and avoid it? Or what exactly do u mean?
It simply means there a lot competing for the traffic generated by that keywords. Companies with huge budgets compete for these keywords. Do you lessons and you will learn about this.
Cheers Kev
Sorry you have been so long without an answer. Yes that is definitely a niche. I don't quite know how you could monetize tho off the top of my head. From what you have said there is a need for that site. I do not know enough about Indian culture to help with much more than that
Are there many websites in India such as this already?
It would have to be for love and not sleaze, nor to misguide anyone. It would need strict rules in place and instant bans on misuse of the website. It could be done but there is a lot to consider to get it so that it is just an honest site that does not break the law in any way. It could become very popular then you might need to trust someone else or more to help you with your website.
I apologise for my answers not being a definite yes or no, but just a few things to think about and I am sure that If you keep getting this question of yours asked and don't give up then you will finally come to your conclusion.
I think for a more definite answer you need to contact Kyle or Carson in a private message by clicking on either of their profile pictures and finding the contact them button. Good Luck.
Andi.
Thanks for your reply. I am a little surprised that I got just one reply in this entire time. The way things were built up during my trial, I was hoping to get a ton of responses! Anyways, I will keep some of the things that you said in mind and do some research to see which way I want to proceed! Cheers!
It's o.k, remember there are thousands of people on here and things can move on in a fast paced way.
I want you to ask your question to the people again though because I have had this happen to me before, don't become disheartened.
Look up to your top right icon pictures in the WA search bar.
You will see - an aeroplane, people, the world, an envelope then next a pen. Click on the pen arrow and a drop down menu will have "Ask A Question" Click on that and ask again until you get a response.
And then if you still do not get the response you need go to Kyle's profile and send him a private message just to him and he will get back to you for sure. Or do both to be sure. Good Luck.
Best Wishes,
Andi.
